  • Getting With the Times...

I got tired of vanilla muzzle flashes, casings, and projectiles.  I missed the old days of CaliberX fixing those things, so I got off my butt and started an attempt to make it somewhat current as best I can and making it work alongside TTW since that's how I'm currently playing the game.  I'm guessing some folks will be confused by the existence of an apparent version 5x when I just uploaded a version 4x.  The simple explanation is that the person who created that version no longer supports it and does not wish to develop it further.  To me, the work he did was the equivalent of waving a wand and making magic; I'll likely never understand what he did or how he did it so I can't maintain or build on it.  That leaves me with using the last version I did understand as a foundation, so th...

"So now it officially passes to you to lovingly maintain, as only you could possibly do."

These are version specific notes that serve as more of a foreword. For detailed credits and thanks form other authors, please see the

I would like to thank FluidFire and Earache42 for all I've learned from them in the development of Caliber and CaliberX as well as all the other modders and artists across the Internet at the Nexus and other places. ...
