This mod was created for those who want to have an easier time with cops whether they are struggling with Vanilla cops or because a mod they are using has increased their difficulty beyond their liking.

The mod is separated into different files in order to be modular and because certain files require choosing only one (ex: max cop speed and reputation rewards).

Max Decreased Cop Count from 4 to 3
Max Patrolling Cop Density from 8 to 3
Max Time Between Waves from 30 to 60

Elite Repair Kit now available at level 10 and contains 10 repairs.

Make sure this mod is lower on the Frosty Mod Manager list so it takes priority over other mods that effect the Repair Kit Active Auxiliaries.

The XXX determines the maximum MPH speed of the cops (in most cases).

This is probably the most important mod on this selection.

The available ranges are from 100mph to 190mph in increments of 10mph.

Vanilla Information:
Heat 1 Max Speed 120MPH
Heat 2 Max Speed 140MPH
Heat 3 Max Speed 180MPH
Heat 4 Max Speed 200MPH
Heat 5 Max Speed 220MPH

This mod changes the Maximum speed not the minimum. Here is an explanation of how that works.
Example using 160MPH version of the mod:
Heat 1 Max Speed 120MPH
Heat 2 Max Speed 140MPH
Heat 3 Max Speed 160MPH
Heat 4 Max Speed 160MPH
Heat 5 Max Speed 160MPH

The xX determines the increased amount of Cash awarded from events and activities.

The xX determines the increased amount of Reputation awarded from events and activities.

Make sure this mod is lower on the Frosty Mod Manager list so it takes priority over other mods that effect Reputation rewards from events and activities.

---- 7) No_Overpowered_Cops_Health_X.fbmob (Does not work Online - Choose only one!) ------------
The X determines the decreases the max health of cops by either 50% to the minimum allowed ~75% (Not on all cases).

Gameplay Hint: When a cop takes collision damage they become immune to damage for 4 to 8 seconds. This applies to Vanilla as well.

The cops Ford Explorer SUVs are bugged:
This mod has no impact on their max health, while also breaking their displayed health bar :(  The SUVs will still take damage and can still be destroyed, however their displayed health bars will remain at 100% until the very end. They have A LOT of health so it will make them feel like they are immortal.

Make sure this mod is lower on the Frosty Mod Manager list so it takes priority over other mods that effect Cops.

Will I get banned for using these mods Online?
Highly unlikely as the game's last update occurred on 2020 (minus the server update on 2023) and no one has ever reported being banned for using mods online since then.

How are Cops balanced Online with others not using this mod?
Whomever owns the Cop is responsible for its stats. The initial stats are decided by whatever player causes the cop to spawn, and the ownership is changed by whomever the cop begins to pursuit first. If the cop begins a pursuit on an AI Racer it gets the stats of the owner of the AI Racer.

I am new to this game. Can this game be played in Co-op?
Yes, and I believe at this time in early 2025 it is the best Co-op racing game with RPG style progression. Do note that the game does not allow you to play through the Story missions in Co-op, HOWEVER Story missions will likely take up less than 20% of your playtime. Most of your playtime will be spent doing races and escaping the cops (to level up and get cash for upgrades) which can be done in Co-op.

What should I do if I plan on playing through this game on Co-op?
It is not required, but I highly I recommend you and your co-op friends choose the same difficulty and use the exact same mods in the same load order for the best experience.

Does difficulty setting have any effect on the difficulty of Cops?
From what I read online no. Even with no mods the cops are NOT effected by the player's difficulty setting.

What Max Speed version of the mod do you recommend for someone who mostly just wants to enjoy the story?
New Game
Beginner 120-130
Experienced 130-140
Skilled 150-160

End Game (Car Rating 300 or more)
Beginner 140-150
Experienced 150-160
Skilled 170-180

I am using a No_Overpowered_Cops_Max_Speed that is higher than 140MPH (ex: 160MPH) however I am still able to outrun cops going just above 140MPH?
Those mods change the maximum speed not the minimum. On Vanilla (and this mod) the Heat 1 and 2 cops already have a 120MPH and 140MPH limit.

My game crashes when I try to play Online?
Try removing all other mods and see if it works online. If it does then either one of your other mods does not work online or there is an incompatibility issue between the mods.

Do I need to use all mod files?
No only the ones you want as I made it modular.

Does the mod order matter?
Yes make sure these mods have higher priority than the other mods (lower on the list on Frosty Mod Manager).

How about the "No Overpowered Cops" mod order between each other?
No the NOC mod files can be in any order between each other as they do not impact each other.
