Adds 149 custom lore-appropriate names to companions and other characters that use the game's name list.
These names come from different online sources, such as generators and historical lists.
I used Greek-Roman tweaked names for the Empire, Arabic names for the Aserai, Celtic names for Battanian, Mongolian names for the Khuzait, Nordic-tweaked names for the Sturgian, and winged it for the Vlandian.
Contributions and suggestions:
If some names seem inappropriate for the game's setting, leave a comment, ideally with a replacement name.
127 names might sound like a lot but the game has 650 names, so if anyone has suggestions for names to add, please drop a comment and I will credit you for the contribution on this page.
Adding your own names:
Simply add them to the custom.xml list, look at names.xml for an example.
Note the custom.xml file is only generated when you start the game, it's not included in the .zip to prevent overriding your custom file.
Installation:
Install it with Vortex, enable it on the Mod page of the launcher, done.
Or unzip the zip in Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules
Compatibility:
Everything. It adds names to cultures of the game without Harmony or XML modification.
