Requires Mod Configuration Menu v4 which the mod uses to provide a number of settings to configure various aspects of its functionality: https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/612 Settings can be changed at anytime and will apply at the next weekly tick.
Make sure you load ALL MCM modules as well as its requirements above Native, as instructed on the MCM's mod page. Should look like this: https://imgur.com/vLW8eD3
If only merc's could marry into factions to become legit vassals, they die off leaving no minor factions, which I would have enjoyed bringing into my kindgom :( Otherwise, this mod is probably the only reason I not only have heirs, but many grandkids at 38 lol.
The mod is no longer supported? because with the Mod Configuration Menu the current mod does not work. with Mod Configuration Menu v4-the game does not start. it doesn't work on 1.5.9. update it? or is it already a dead mod? because AI Marriage is better than Houses of Calradia, I would not like it to die..
Please update the mod for 1.5.8. This mod really keeps the game alive by keeping both major and minor faction populated with new lords. The game keeps crashing at every seventh day.
And what about of "overflow" of characters in the world? Some time, they will start to reproduce... imagine 3 to 5 children for every couple and their children will start to produce again and so on.... a CTD "feast"!
Do you happen to know how to disable AI marriages in the newest update? I've been looking around in the game files, and I can't seem to find the code they use for it
Thank you so much for this mod, it's working wonders for me. Although I would like to mention that it would be wise to add a cap system so that members of a clan won't exceed a certain number. If all the clans just marry endlessly and start having more and more children, it might cause the game in the long run to lag or even crash. (I have not experienced this. It's just a suggestion)
Another thing that i would love to see in this mod is for the player's clan to be involved. Like for example you as a player being able arrange marriages for your clan members with other clans or getting a marriage proposal from other clans to marry a member of your clan.
One peculiar thing that I have noticed while playing with this mod is that all the female npcs that grow up into adulthood and get married, get spawned into the world as a member of their husband's clan and can lead parties as well as armies (and in some cases become the leader of the clan) and you can interact with them like any other hero in the game, whereas the male npcs (their spouses) can't be found anywhere even though the encyclopedia says otherwise. (It is important to mention here that prior to their marriages these female npcs couldn't be found anywhere in the map). In my current playthrough many of the clans are led by a female npc who was married into the clan and at this rate it won't be long until the entire map consists of only female npcs lol.
