And more in future updates.

  • It requires you to start a new game, to see the new clans. If you install my mod midgame the clans won't show up.
  • It requires you to download and install 'OpenSourceArmory' and 'SwadianArmoury' as the new units use items from those mods. I highly suggest you to check out my new Unit/Troop overhaul mod; 'Armies & Armories Rebalanced'. If you don't want the troops I'd suggest to atleast get the armory module, which balances all the items in the game including the ones from OSA and SwadianArmoury. That way the troops from InterestingClans are as balanced as possible, as they work both hand in hand.
  • If you're using my mod; 'Interesting Companions', then put it below 'Interesting Clans' in the mod loadorder to avoid crashes.
  • If you're using the optional Minor Clan Recruitment addon, you're required to download; 'Mod Configuration Menu'!
  • If you want to be able to recruit Minor Faction Units then you either HAVE TO download my other Mod; Armies & Armories Rebalanced or MoreMercenariesforMyTavern. Or both, if you want to have more options to recruit from.
  • Do note though, that Fanatic clan troops aren't recruitable!.. Mostly dead clan troops and sword sisters are.
  • If you have installed everything correctly you can go to the MCM menu of 'MoreMercenariesforMyTavern'; and set how many units should show up in the taverns. I'd suggest to stay in the 2-3 range, or else it could be OP. As the cost for hiring mercenaries can't be set.
  • I advise you to use "Custom Spawns Clean API" by Ozan Ürkmez, you'll find it in the download section of his mod; 'Calradia at War'. If you have installed it put it above 'Interesting Clans' in your mod loadorder. But you can also just play it without that addon.

Download and install using Vortex, or extract the contents of the ZIP into your Bannerlord Modules folder. (only works with the main file)

Minor Troop Recruitment addon goes to; 'Documents/Mount and Blade II Bannerlord/Configs/Modsettings'

NOTE: You have to start the game atleast once with the "MoreMercenariesforMyTavern" mod installed, to make that path show up.
Then you can drop the Minor Troop Recruitment download from InterestingClans into that path, to overwrite existing files.

The clans didn't show up in my game, why not?
  • The Interesting Clans mod requires a new game, otherwise the new clans won't show up.
The minor factions aren't at war with the major factions, why?
  • Some ingame days have to pass for that to happen, if it still doesn't work, check if you have downloaded and installed the required 'Custom Spawns API' correctly.
