With such a vividly imaginative world, it's little wonder that Morrowind has often attracted a plethora of city overhaul and expansion mods, as each generation of modders has taken inspiration from these iconic locations and sought to make them even better.

Hundreds of city expansion and overhaul mods have been released over the years, from those merely seeking to enhance the unique aspects that were already there, to those aiming to transform Morrowind's cities into true urban centers of industry and culture, to immersive overhauls that aim to bring life to Morrowind's streets with more detailing and clutter.

There have been so many amazing city overhaul mods for Morrowind over the years. But only one can be called the best ever city overhaul mod for Morrowind, and that is, without a doubt, the 2009 classic city overhaul mod by Melchior Dahrk.

A mod that has simply never been surpassed, achieving sublime excellence with untold verticality and atmospheric beauty, and with the release of Newer Gnaar Mok in 2023, it has cemented itself as one of the best Morrowind mods ever made!
