Thank you for the kind words! I'm stretched thin at the moment, but I might revisit it in the future. It definitely needs an update, 24 NPCs is merely just a proof of concept. It's a matter of months, rather than weeks, though.

Saw the update, thank you for the continued work. I'd like to ask a question in regard to the interaction between small talk and this.

Bards of Bardenfell at Morrowind Nexus - mods and community

I've noticed the bard in Seyda Neen at least constantly interrupts himself with small talk, causing small snippets of songs to play. Is this a load order issue? Thank you for any response.

Since Bards of Bardenfell turns Raflod into a bard, I recommend loading Small Talk before Bards of Bardenfell, so he only sings instead of singing and chatting with Hrisskar at the same time. Although, I couldn't reproduce disrupted songs, so I'm not sure if it's the same issue. For me, the music is played constantly either way, regardless of mod load order.

I was excited for this but unfortunately, it doesn't work. Went to Seyda Need in tavern, it started convo between Hrisskar and other NPC, immediately gives error for some missing mp3. I have Kezyma's voices, running on morrowing.exe (not OpenMW)

Which Voices of Vvardenfell version did you install? Maybe you're on an old version which doesn't have some of the used voices.

Same problem with me in Arrille’s tradehouse. I downloaded the latest version of Kezyma’s voices but when Hrisskar talks I receive an error saying mp3 file not found.

      datafiles\sound\vo\AIV\nord\m\28285631464613210.mp3.

Apparently some files were removed with new VoV version.
You can try to download an older version from this link and copy only Data Files/Sound. Do not replace any files, so it copies only the missing .mp3.

This may be asking for too much, but could you upload a separate version with just the necessary files from VoV? The original VoV seems to be around 2 ~ 3 GB and that seems like a lot.

Uploaded the missing files, look for "Missing mp3" under Optional Files.
One still needs VoV, though. Either the old version of VoV I linked, or (better) the newest version of VoV + the missing files.

I really recommend playing with Voices of Vvardenfell. AI or not, Kezyma and his team did an incredible job - the voices fit as far as it gets, they even include some emotional tones, which mitigates the robotic speaking rhythm.

Was waiting for it for a long time. There are mods that add lots of random NPCs to the game, like Starfire's NPC Additions, Friends and Foes and Repopulated Morrowind. They will benefit most from these small dialogs.

The next update to Repopulated Morrowind will feature voice-lines for a few NPC types. More voices are on the to-do list for future updates.

You say its openmw compatible but list Voices of Vvardenfell as a requirement.
Whats the way to go about installing this on openmw

Apparently you can install it on OpenMW these days with OpenMW Voices of Vvadenfell Patch.
But if you don't want to install it, you only really need to copy VoV voices from "Data Files\Sound"

True, MW is missing voice variety badly. But technically, the bald nord on the video uses a different set than Hrisskar, mostly vanilla sounds, which give me more scottish vibes than those AI-generated voices.

True. I wonder if we'll have speech trainers that can do accents in ten years.

Is there a way to install Voices of Morrowind for this to meet the requirement but without any of its other features?

Yes, you only really need to copy their voice files from "Data Files\Sound", but why would anyone want to play without dubbing...
