Player Home - Sleeper Car

Overview

A small player home on an overnight train, The Sparrow Express. Teleport there with an amulet, rest and manage inventory, and then have the train take you to one of four destinations - Ald-ruhn, Balmora, Sadrith Mora, or Vivec.

Features
  9 storage containers
  Fast travel to four cities
•  Dynamic lights
•  Adjustable curtains and blinds
•  Retro decor

Initially inspired by "Departing" by Aleha84. All modelling work is original.

Starting the mod

Buy (or steal) the Sparrow Express Amulet from Tanar Llervi, the enchanter on the bottom floor of the Ald-ruhn Guild of Mages. Equip it, and you will be prompted to teleport. Your room is #4. When you are ready to leave, find the map at the far end of the train and click on a destination.

Technical

Requirements
Requires Morrowind to be running either with mgeXE or openMW - the many animated meshes won't work in straight vanilla MW. Made with mgeXE's per-pixel lighting in mind, although it's not required.

OpenMW
OpenMW doesn't seem to handle decal alpha blending correctly (dirt on the carpet, etc), so included are alternate meshes without the offending decals. Just paste those over the original files. OpenMW may also not render the lights correctly.

MWSE mod integration
Instructions for integration with MWSE sound overhauls AURA, Impact Sounds, and CSO are included in the readme.
