Many say that Morrowind's combat is dated, but honestly I like it better than Oblivion or Skyrim's. If anything, Morrowind's combat just needs a facelift. That's what this mod attempts to achieve. With this mod, your weapon melee sound FX will no longer be the same repetitive swish and hit sound, but you will now experience over 100 new randomly selected sounds when you swing your weapon or land a strike. It makes combat much more immersive and fun! The mod contains a lua script so you will need the latest dev of OpenMW, or version 0.48 should work too. Try it out and let me know! This mod was created using the assets from Impact Sounds at Morrowind Nexus - mods and community (nexusmods.com). Impact sounds requires MWSE however, so this is the OpenMW alternative.
*DO NOT TRY TO OPEN THIS MOD IN THE CS! Instead of using an omwscripts file, the reference to the lua script is encoded directly in the ESP. If you open it in the CS it will break the mod because the CS does not support lua.
