Other than remodeling all incompatible upper outfits so that they do not overlap with widened greaves? No. That's why there is a MWSE script to prevent overlapping meshes. And even if there wasn't, on Morrowind.exe it would overlap without flickering.
I'm getting this error when i install the MWSE folder, if i remove it it loads everything without problems, it just doesnt use your script, i run this with mod manager 2 and the latest MGE XE build
those pants that i get yellow triangled are Arrile's, for reference
and Teleri Telvi pants, she has a skirt so they are the male version
anyway how do you get This, mine looks like This , is it the script that doesn't work for me?
Try doing it other way around, remove everything except this mod (and its required mods) and see if it's still broken. Then gradually start adding your mods on top of it, one by one, and you'll see which one has conflicts.
This mod doesn't affect bodies. Are there any errors in MWSE.log or Warnings.txt?
You can try temporarily removing "Data Files/MWSE/mods/THICC pants and greaves" and see if it changes anything. Most likely the script is switching to models that you don't have (either the vanilla models, or models from this mod). I see that you're using Mod Organizer, maybe it didn't copy something correctly, or removed something that it shouldn't.
removing this folder "Data Files/MWSE/mods/THICC pants and greaves", fixes everything as i've mentioned in the original post (but of course i'm not getting the anti clipping (which i don't know how to test if it works))
what i didn't mention is that before i was running this with the 2016 MGSO overhaul and i was getting this issue with the bonemold
but now that i've created a fresh installation folder and installed manually MGE, code patch and the nightly Script Extender it shows right
i'm still investigating on how to make it look right on the MGSO, i really want to understand what's going on
Error wise there are only errors in warning.txt but not on MWSE.log
OK, another thing, i tried to run this without mod manager, but since its the steam version it forces me to start the game from the steam installation folder, this could create problems, i will try to move the whole steam folder outside program files and see if it changes anything
Anti-clipping script is fairly simple: it just checks if any character is wearing modded pants/greaves in combination with upper body outfit that could clip. If it's a case it switches back to vanilla pants/greaves. Just like on the gif in the Description page.
It could be that MGSO overwrites the vanilla pants/greaves models and the script, instead of switching to vanilla models, actually switches to incompatible MGSO models. Where can I download MGSO? Isn't it outdated?
Knee/Ankle errors are probably caused by a bug in Better Clothes, on my list to investigate, but I'm pretty sure it's unrelated.
OK i've found out the culprit, MGSO had included armor textures that would replace the vanillas, and i was getting this enlarged over the curvibody bonemold armor's butt
Nope, probably never. I've just started writing a simple mod in the ancient MWScript and it already makes me want to throw it out of the window. And while OpenMW Lua is much better code wise, it provides merely a fraction of MWSE's capabilities. Morrowind.exe is still where it's at, don't get carried away by fancy OpenMW gameplay videos.
Actually, I already did a prototype for skirts, but the problem is that they can be worn my males as well and since there is no female model it would have to be differentiated somehow and I didn't want to add .esp plugin for this. But nothing that a sneaky MWSE script couldn't do. I'll add it when I find some time.
Oh, okay, I didn't know it affected robe weights, lol! I'll have to give it a try. I dunno though, I really like the curvybody model so it might be hard for me to step away from it. Honestly, I might build myself some bodies, not too sure yet. Probably something thicc but toned; I tend to have a pref for that happy medium between the two, but always a nice set of abs.
------- Hey, so I'm doing a thing right now for you... I kinda forgot to ask, but then I remembered while I was doing it.
I happen to be ok at 3d modeling/ sculpting and I noticed your flare pants didn't really have any flare, so I'm building you two pant meshes right now; One of the meshes is more of your standard pant-leg while the other is a true flare in all it's glory. ------
Honestly, I might build a whole slew of new pants to go with these models, if I had your permission, of course. I'm pretty fashion-inclined, so I enjoy making aesthetically pleasing things, lol!
Here's an image for the basic pants. I haven't tested them in-game yet, but I'll do that and make adjustments as needed.
------------- Edit: -------------- Okay, so for the second one, I went a bit overboard on the flares, lol. They're bell-bottoms now, but honestly, I can do a lot more with those, in terms of textures than I can with flares since its more material to work with.
I also made separate textures for each section of the pants to make them easier to put designs on, etc.
Oh, and for both pairs, I made minimal edits to the pants overall, changing only the ankle mesh for each.
We're back in the mid-1990s, hehe. Have you checked if your flare pants clip with boots or greaves? Enlarging models can be tricky.
No permission needed, I'm not the author of these pants, wkdRmffhemqkseka is. If you use them as a base for your own models, I don't think anyone would complain.
In my humble opinion, while it might be fun, the time spent on body models would be better spent on clothes, simply because usually you see them a lot more in the game than a naked body.
Well, I wish I knew how to control the camera on my own, but I see minor clipping from iron greaves, which is quite tweakable, I was expecting a little bit of necessary adjustments.
Additionally, Chitin Boots have some very minor clipping:
Additionally, a personal critique, I need to add an under-mesh to each pant-leg because you can see emptiness when you walk in the pants
However, what I'm really happy about is I got the bottoms of the pants spot-on on the first try!
Once I deal with those minor clipping issues, I'll start making actual textures and such for the pants and then think about in-game distribution methods, etc.
I was thinking of maybe implementing it via a crafting system that I can expand upon over time. I kinda had this idea of making some kind of power armor in the near future, etc.
Naturally, I'll keep two separate instances of that crafting mod, lol. While it'll use Dwemer tech, I can imagine some people won't find it very entertaining for their Morrowind experiences, no matter what it offers.
Oh, and yeah, I know, literally a noob character, lol. I keep testing out mods and swapping them out... but I also happen to leave the survival mods and have the gold weight mod, so I always need a backpack since I spawn in so much stuff to test.
Ok then, added it to files. I've managed to connect enlarged groins with upper legs but don't know how to fix the textures. Apparently imperial norms didn't expect that thicc bottocks and the exported pants are bursting at the seams.
Edit: I've found a way to fix the textures. It's still not perfect, but much better than before.

To get a similar effect as on my screenshots install Politically Incorrect Race and Gender Resize, which visually widens all characters.
when i start a new game everything is fine, but when i save and reload i get new instances of yellow triangles like before
i use robert bodies as a better bodies, but i don't think that's the problem
list
from the warnings i'm getting it looks like its not compatible with the latest better clothes complete

right now i'm not using MGSO, just trying to not have errors in my vanilla steam copy
the MGSO uses outdated MGE and code patch, so i've just reinstalled the new ones on top
do you play morrowind on steam or with CDs?
Now i'm running it without Mod Organizer, and i'm having different errors
actually this changed after moving the steam folder outside of program fileserror1
error2
the expensive pants error i get when i get inside Arrile's tradehouse
I'd love to see skirts and robes done as well!
Robes look quite thicc enough if one is also using Politically Incorrect Race and Gender Resize.
