Talk About Topography
TAT is a very simple mod that lets you ask almost any scout in the vanilla game for for directions and they will offer to draw you a map of the region or city you are currently in provided you have a blank piece of paper. Scouts that are in the wilderness or minor settlements will offer a region map, and scouts that reside in major cities will offer both a city and region map. This is intended to be used with a mod like Get Lost so that you would be forced to ignore your regular map. Having no arrow to pinpoint your exact location means you would have to determine your position based on the landmarks, and in this way I think it makes for a more immersive map experience.
