Snakebitten, the original author of mesh used in this mod, went dark around 2009. He was author of numerous other meshes, some still available in mod Snakebittens Lair that can be downloaded from Morrowind Mod History (archived version).
Author of this mod tried to contact Snakebitten for the past two years through various methods in order to obtain his direct permission to use those meshes. Unsuccessfully. If Snakebitten at any point resurfaces, please contact me if you wish me to take this mod down.

Changelogs
Version 1.0
Dwemer Aqualung.esp added
Snakebitten's mesh and icon added
Deep sinking 1982 A.D.
Description: This simple mod adds dwemer diving suit to Aleft ruins. Aqualung is heavy, but grants water breathing constant effect.
Installation: Initial release of this mod is compatible with OpenMW.
We all unzip together. Drop mod directory in Data Files
Compatibility: Mods that change Aleft dwemer ruins, especially if they rearrange the location of rooms and corridors, might be incompatible. If you don't find the diving suit there and you have such mods installed, consider typing the following in console:
player->additem au_dwemer_aqualung 1
Note: it is pretty heavy, so if you can't move, consider your carry weight limit.
Suggested mods:
Gasmask sounds - can be used to add rebreather sounds to the aqualung
A Sinking Feeling - adds drowning mechanic and makes aqualung much more useful
