This is by far my favorite Suran overhaul out there visually-speaking. I'm loving the out door bar and all the little hangout nooks. I always saw Suran as a party town, and you really nailed that vibe in my opinion.
However, even running the compatibility no-scripts version, there are HUGE fps losses in Suran now. I'm wondering what could be causing this, since I typically run at a perfect 60. I suspect that the huge amount of light sources could be the culprit... thoughts?
EDIT: To anyone running this in OpenMW, make sure you have the "Jammings Off" mod as well, or else you won't be able to fit through some if the exterior doorways.
Yes the amount of light is a big fps drop... I will make a light version with less lights effects. Thanks for your feed back. I've corrected already some collisions that causes stuck way. The next will come soon
So for the life of me I can not figure out what is causing this to not load, your balmora mod is great and I wanted to add this one as well even uninstalled BoCM to make sure things wouldn't interfere Also having similar issues when I tried to use the forts mod and went out to Solstheim
LOVE your designs for these city mods, really makes them feel like dense lived in areas, didn't see any instructions on how to install the mod so wasn't sure what I could be doing wrong https://imgur.com/Z9B1hTf
are you installing via Wyre Mash? If so, Wyre Mash doesn't recognize the Core folder, so it'll load up the .esp and everything, but fails to load the Core file, which holds all the textures. I just copy pasted the cotents of the Core folder into my Data Files and lo and behold, no mesh errors. Hope this helps!
I have tried a lot of asset and town mods over the years, and this and your Balmora mod are easily two of the best I've tried - installed easy, no conflicts, no weird immersion breaking just bam - there's your awesome new town. Great work!
If I had one wish it would be a white version of Suran, but outstanding anyway. Can't wait to see what else is coming!
Great mod. I would recommend to adjust the file structure for easier installation with a mod organizer. Dallara's Suran => Data Files => Textures, Meshes and esp. I would upload the alternative esps as different files. Installing mods manually is a bit outdated and can be a lot of work if you manage over 200 mods.
Hi, most stuff works now as intended, although i still could not pass through the staircase in the baracks.
Now i have a new issue that may interest you. The following object becomes white and shines through everything when using OpenMW 0.48.0 (development build):
This is a really weird issue, but it seems to be the only object and mod doing this. The same object in your Balmora mod causes this issue as well.
Maybe you can look into it sometime? Would be sad if this mod wouldn't work with upcoming new OpenMW release build, although i don't know if it is caused by the ladder or OpenMW.
Thanks for updating! Will try. I was not able to find the culprit for the stucking in the baracks. Seems to me the character is too big to pass, but not sure about this.
I did find another shining object like the ladder above:
Everything else seems to be working fine, i explored the whole towns once again to bu sure this time. Sorry i did not see the lamps the last time, they are placed only on two places i think.
For the barracks I think I've found the problem. I use this mod ?https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44523? and I think it the reason I've no collision problem in the barracks... So I will made an update where I remouve the archdoor at the base of the stairs.
You're version of Suran is amazing, you managed to make it feel larger than it is, and it now also feels like a town that people leave in. I just visited Suran with a low level character, but didn't manage to walk up the stairs to the silt strider, is there something invisible there that blocks me?

My Dalara Suran.Esp File is in Data files and the box is checked when I bring up data files in the launcher so idk what is going on, idk what to do.

What mods do you usually use for Suran together with this friend?
I use Ashlander Traders - Remastered, Animated Morrowind - Merged
and Suran Sewers

for the barracks it's really strange... nothing block me when I pass. maybe try to disable the arche wall?
