The mod is supercool, but there is a way to not make bolts/arrows not be 100% recoverable? It makes arrow economy too easy, i barely need to use crafting mods that i installed because i can always recover the arrows when i dont miss.
In the full version, I made the chance of arrows breaking depending on their durability (durability is a hidden characteristic of arrows that does not affect gameplay in vanilla)
Pinchushion does that. It also makes projectiles stick to objects, however, they are just graphics and can't be picked up. According to hrnchamd, this is mainly to prevent save bloat. Does this mod remove projectiles after a while or will they remain forever if they are not picked up?
I love the mod, but is there a way to make arrows recoverable from bodies or terrain based on percent chance rather than being a 100% sure thing? Perhaps a config to make recovery rate based on the marksmanship skill to some degree? I feel that this mod is a step in the right direction with respect to making marksmanship viable, but seems to have the potential to unbalance marksmanship in the opposite direction.
Using this mod with OJ's Simple Combat Mechanics, enemies will pull throwing weapons out of their own bodies to throw back at you, and I think that's utterly amazing.
I really like this mod! My only criticism would be that we can't set gravity independently for thrown weapons (throwing stars, darts, etc.). I would like to be able to turn it off for those weapons altogether.
Hello there. I love the stuff you make and I would like to make a suggestion for a ranged combat mod or add-on: a knock back (or kick back) feature for ranged weapons such as bows and crossbows (and maybe Throwing Knives if the Player has enough Strength to throw them hard enough?) similar to your KickMaster and BomberMan mods.
I would really like to literally knock enemies back several feet with a well-aimed crossbow bolt. Or with your Throw it mod to similar effect.
From the config options in the video, it looks like the only option that can be toggled off are the persistent arrows. Any chance a toggle could be added for the other features as well? I was hoping to use the mod just for the gravity effect.
Also, is there any difference between this mod's persistent arrows effect and Pincushion? I remember the latter crashing my game quite often.
Мод отличный, а то что он обособлен от Чима еще лучше. Но, ты проверял его на метательном оружии ? Стальные метательные кинжалы летят ровно на один метр, хотя должны лететь дальше. Если нужно я прикреплю изображения и моды которые могли повлиять на метательное оружие, но именно твой мод делает дальность такой короткой.

The difference with the Pincushion is very big: arrows can be taken out of objects and collected.
