About this mod

The life of a marksman is one of advantage. Distance, time, initiative. But, when it's all over there is no trace of your work. Wouldn't it be satisfying to see your arrows, bolts and darts sticking into men, mer, tavern doors, and signposts alike? This mod is for you. Place an arrow right between their eyes.

It's not going to be perfect, because it's the Morrowind engine, but it works pretty damn good on NPCs. You can aim and hit body parts. Projectiles stick to whatever they hit. You can't pick them up, because they are visual only. That means no savegame problems. You should read the short FAQ below.

FAQ

Q: Why are some of my arrows/bolts/darts floating?
A: This is build on an imperfect engine using imperfect collision meshes. I tried to compensate for most of the problems. In the next version I could improve it more.

Q: Why can't we pick up these arrows? Cmonnnnnnn.
A: Very possible, but I don't want to fill the save with hundreds of arrow items embedded out-of-reach when the collision goes wrong. With improvements, it can be done.

Q: Why can't I hit this NPC's head?
A: There is an engine bug. The first time an NPC head loads in, it doesn't get set up correctly for collision. This is a vanilla bug, but it's ten times more obvious now.

Q: Are all the projectiles supposed to disappear on loading a game?
A: Yes. Everything gets cleaned up on load.

Q: Does this mod affect the player character?
A: Yes! In third person. First person view doesn't have a body, so it would be a little hard to attach projectiles to it.

Q: How do I remove these arrows from my character?
A: Sleep it off. Resting, sleeping, or travelling will remove them.
