If you'd like to see a mod covered, please request it within the designated forum topic so I can keep track of them. Likewise, use the other forum topic if you want to suggest any new features for CSO that aren't included in other sound mods like AURA.
NOTE: I recommend setting the in-game footsteps volume to zero, otherwise on some small surfaces with textures I didn't cover you might hear a vanilla footstep or two. This may be fixed in a future update.
I like the sound of the armor clinking when characters walk, I hate the fact that you changed the potion sounds. I wish there was an in between version that added to, but didn't take away from the game.
Hey guys, I went to the trouble of updating the land table for the new Tamriel Rebuilt assets and that pesky Project Atlas wooden docks texture, so now all the wooden docks should be fixed as well as all the lands in the new TR update! (Dominions of Dust) Let me know if there's anything I missed : )

Nice one for doing this. There's a couple of posts over on the Modding Discord about data.lua https://discord.com/channels/210394599246659585/705627823104327680/1047098137032003637
Just a heads-up to anyone adding the extra Project Atlas additions above to the data table; there appears to be a typo with an extra backslash in each directory address which will cause the sound to fail. So "atl\\\atlad_6th" should be "atl\\atlad_6th". If you copy-paste into data.lua you'll need to delete one backslash in each line.
No worries; only jumped out when copied from here directly below the existing PA entries and took 30 seconds to correct. Every time I've tried my hand at scripting and hit a blocker, always turns out to be some minor thing like this. Thanks for taking the time to post the detailed texture list and of course to the OP for trawling through the TR landscape stuff, very convenient.
Hi! I love this mod, is there a way to patch for Bare Necessities? BN detects whether you've eaten/drank via GetSoundPlaying. I kinda hate the vanilla swallow/drink sounds but I need to turn off all item use sounds from this beautiful mod if I don't wanna starve. I may be able to replace all the vanilla item use files with these ones, but I'm not a full-on modder so we'll see if I can get that to work--though I'm sure an official patch would be appreciated by more than just me. Thanks for any responses :)
This Mod has major conflictions with another mod called The Bare Necessities it will break the drinking from a water source / filling bottles and letting you hydrate your character. In order to fix this delete the files in Character Sound Overhaul folder called "Potions" and delete another one called "Water" They are found in the paths below of said mod
Sound>Anu>Movement> Water Sound > Anu > Items > Potions
>>Link to the The Bare Necessities i highly suggest it << https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43365/?tab=posts&BH=0
I highly suggest this mod its perfect for all mod lists along with the The Bare Necessitie

Honestly, this mod is one of the biggest reasons I can't make the permenant swap to OpenMW just yet.
The obvious parts like your own footsteps squelching in mud or clonking on wood are great.
But the movement sounds of other NPCs depending on their armour, or the lovely little scribble when your journal updates, are perfect earworms that I just wouldn't want to play without anymore.
