Note: Let There Be Darkness now provides a better way to disable unnatural lights, allowing you to choose exactly which lights to disable. I recommend using LTBD instead of this mod, unless you can't or don't want to use an MWSE mod.
No Unnatural Lights
Summary
This plugin disables all unnatural light sources in the game by changing the radius of the relevant lights to zero. Specifically, all lights that don't have a model (including so-called "negative lights") are disabled. Now the only sources of light will be visible light sources and ambient lighting.
This is intended to be used alongside a lighting overhaul, like True Lights and Darkness or Di.still.ed Lights, to further reduce the game's illumination, but it can also be used on its own.
No cells are edited, only the light sources.
Installation
Use a mod management tool such as Wrye Mash, or just copy the .esp file to your Data Files directory and select it in the Morrowind Launcher.
If you're using a lighting overhaul, such as True Lights and Darkness or Di.still.ed Lights, this plugin must load after your lighting mod to be effective, because the lighting mod will edit at least some of the same lights. If you use mlox, it will probably place TLD or Di.still.ed Lights at the end of your load order, after this plugin, so it might be beneficial to create a custom mlox rule to ensure this plugin loads last.
