Using a no-glow mod? Use Assetless No-Glow instead. It is compatible with this mod where others aren't, and provides a small boost to FPS over other options.
Can't make it work. I use Assetless No-Glow, but don't remember if I installed any other no-glow mod that could have removed enchantment effects. What other enchantment effect can I use? Where are they stored? I tried looking for "bone_guard or "boneguard" in Data Files but couldn't find it.
Edit: Ok, I found it. Turned out I installed Subtle Magic Glow and it changed textures in Textures/magicitem, restoring vanilla textures made it work.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get this to load. I've got the latest nightly build of NWSE, and the file with main.lua is in the right spot, but when I open the mod config section in the loaded game this mod isn't showing up. I've got a couple other MWSE mods in there so I know it's working as far as that goes, but this one doesn't show up, and I'm a bit concerned I've broken something.

I'm guessing the visual effect uses the vanilla enchantment effect. Could be wrong. Anyways...heading back in game and seeing how it works.
This is correct. Like the mod description says, anything that changes the magic glow also applies to soul gems. So if you remove the glowing effect, you won't get it on soul gems either.
I have the same problem. The mod doesn't work, the mod config section isn't showing up, I don't have no-glow mod, other enchanted items have there vanilla glow. I don't know what to do.

There's this one soul gem replacer that includes some animated glow effects, and I wanted to ask if a possible version of your mod could be made that either swaps out gem models or activates a SwitchNode so that only filled soul gems display these glow effects.
I don't have permission to just take another person's assets unless they give it. They have comments turned off and don't seem to be in the Morrowind Modding Community Discord either to reach out to there. Happy to make something like that, but can't do so at present with their assets.
Thanks OffworldDevil! I've uploaded Crystal Soul Gems v4.0 with support for dynamic VFSG effects. I'm not a modeler but I took a look in-game with a few options and they looked good to me.
It doesn't seem to, I have both installed and it doesn't seem to make them look enchanted, unless I'm doing something wrong. Any ideas? I love this idea, but the vanilla soul gems are kind of lump and weird.
edit: I'M SUPREMELY STUPID! it does work, but I completely forgot I had a no-enchantment visual mod installed and that's why it doesn't seem to work. Sorry about that!
