UPDATE: As of version 2.8.0, you can now activate and pick up objects through sunrays! This feature was discovered and made possible by Greatness7 so that players no longer need to choose between functionality and aesthetic when it comes to the sunrays.

If using OpenMW, use Nightly 20.02.20.

For those wondering GitD-compatible meshes will be supported out of the box in upcoming OpenMW nightly builds and 0.46.0 stable release (not 0.45.0).

The patch included with GitD doesn't repackage Windoors entirely - it still requires the original mod.

What do you mean? Im having this same mesh error as well as 2 others when loading a game. Is there another mod that's needed as well?

Don't install the Windoors patch if you don't actually have Windoors installed.

Great mod!  The only question I have is for OpenMW users, will you be releasing the 3.0+ content sans the OpenMW incompatible parts?  The only bug I've seen is the Raven Rock Mine Building Mesh can sometimes "flicker" if approached at just the right angle at night and I see that that was fixed in one of the new versions.

    Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind.  Just tested the 3.2.2 version in OpenMW and the same bug is present (flickering Raven Rock Mining building mesh) so I will be sticking with 2.11.2. Maybe a future update! :)

    Hello MelchiorDahrk!
I installed your mod but don't have mod configuration menu.
I also don't have light in the windows at night.
But i get Nord Glass Windows.
    .
Can you say please what I did wrong?
(I installed the last MGEXE through the link in your description and I also don't have any other mods)

Do you have any errors in `MWSE.log`?

Hi! Thank you for your answer.

      I don't have the file `MWSE.log`
      (I  have MWSE.dll, MWSE-Update.exe, MWSE-Update.exe.tmp, mwse-version.txt in Morrowind game folder)

But I checked `mgeXE.log` there were such strings:
      MGE XE 0.18.0
      MWSE.dll failed to load.
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 (32.0.15.6094)

Do you have ideas what I did wrong?
The main interesting thing that when I installed the same game, your mod and MGEXE in last year,
I had mod config in pause menu and your mod worked(!)
The only thing that could change now is MGEXE / MWSE version.

      MelchiorDahrk thank you so much!
With your answer I saw in MGEXE.log that "MWSE.dll failed to load."
So I wrote it to you and start google this error.
      .
The solution of the problem was next - I need to instal Microsoft Visual Studio 2018 x86.
      https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
      It was also surprise for me - because I have Win10 x64, MVSC 2017 x64 and MVSC 2015-2022 x86.
      But it helped me.
      .
So I finally can enjoy your mod. I also can add that your other mods are great.
      Your fan from Russia.
      .
      Best regards.

I am using openmw total overhaul modlist, with 0.49 build. I am having an issue with the interior daytime window effects not working. It is strange because they were working at one point in my playthrough. Now it stopped working and I am wondering if their is a setting/shader that disables the interior effects.

Sounds like more of an OpenMW question. There are no OpenMW settings included with this mod. Just the meshes themselves.

So, I don't need MGE XE requirement if using OpenMW 0.48.0? Can I just DL Gitd V. 2.11.2 alone and it will work?

Late but yes. Any mod that is compatible with OpenMW that says it requires MGE doesn't actually need it when used with OpenMW. You can just not extract the MWSE folder.

Does this not support Project Cyrodil currently? With the add interior lights to windows option enabled, I'm getting interiors in Anvil with no windows or interior light sources, but it's very lit up by the door

Tamriel_Data handles their own GitD support. You'll need to ask that team if the windows in that area are set up for GitD.

It requires a custom nif.xml file which defines the NiCollisionSwitch node.
