Hi, I really like the concept of the mod and It would be a shame if I'd have to drop it because when I strike corpses with the knife nothing is happening. I have mwse and mgexe newest versions available and I couldnt find any help anywhere.

I'd really appreciate help and I can provide any information needed, thanks!

Neat mod. Might have been nice if there had been some sort of clue as to which NPCs you need to speak to for the first initiation rite, as you're otherwise wandering around cantons aimlessly shouting riddles at people if you don't read the spoiler text. Music for the lair is great and the visual when you first enter is really striking, but I have to say that all of the skeleton furniture is a bit goofy. Chairs made from bones seems more like an edgy necromancer thing than a Namira thing. Too much focus on a very literal death aesthetic and not without much attention paid to the more subtle ideas presented in the lore. It would have been nice if some of the other cultists had been fleshed out too, but I understand that it was a modathon entry and these things usually get churned out and people don't sit around tweaking and editing them for years.

I did really like it, but it just seems like it was missing that little extra something that might have made it a really special mod.

The idea behind the furniture was that the Nord cultist would had been a carpenter putting the human remains to good use, inspired by and much like the cannibals in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre films (all the furniture in the house is decorated with various human and animal bones) and the player would had been able to give them human remains in exchange for the furniture to decorate their homes with. This was simply never implemented with the furniture being kept to make the location more unique.

I got BCOM and BCOM merges the mod https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/49236?tab=posts. I also have this mod. The problem is a storage chest (cold storage it says is floating on the second floor of Eight Plates in Balmora.

This mod worked flawlessly up untill I attacked Namira's lair with ordinators. Than it just stopped working for me. Rolmlen Llethro just stands in place and repeats the same greeting:

"Here we are %PCName, we must destroy these monsters and stop their tainting of the city! [You hear the Ordinators storming in] Ordinators, ATTACK!"

I looked at the mod in CS and I am pretty sure that after this greeting he is supposed to
    1) stop following me
    2) attack Cult Leader (does not happen, maybe also due to mod conflict)
    3) force me to say "Goodbye"

Once the battle is finished global variable HS_SillyCaeris should switch to 0, so that the condition for abovementioned greeting is no longer met (HS_SillyCaeris > 0 for greeting to happen) and I am no longer forced to say "Goodbye" to Rolmlen Llethro (a.k.a. HS_DummyOrdinator).

However in my game value HS_SillyCaeris remains greater than 0 and I can't reach next stage by talking about "undercover operations" topic.

Not sure why that happens. It is either caused by mod conflict or it is a bug in the code... and nobody sided with the Temple to tell you guys about it :)

Also... holy s#*! guys, 100 light?! You know what that did to my eyes 1 o'clock in the morning?

Sorry, have I missed a clue, or is the only way to do the very first quest just to talk to every single NPC in the relevant cantons about the riddles until you find the right person??

I'm assuming this mod is not compatible with Open MW due to the MWSE requirement? I'd love to be able to try this mod out but I'm using Open MW now.

bottom floor of the Lizard's Head. If you have any mods modifying this cell or the npcs in it list it, it might be causing an incompatibility if it moved or edited the contact npc.

Well, after watching the youtube letsplay of the mod i found out it must be the bard Maesa Gabinia. According to wiki she is vanilla npc, isnt present in my game though, dont know why. Just entered the console command placeatme "maesa gabinia", 1,20,1 and she was there. Quest solved

Probably this npc is deleted due to MCA

Hi there. This mod is great already and I've just started it. I am stuck though, so I wanted to post. I've just killed the first person (Favela) in Valor Manor, and I have the dagger in hand. When I strike her corpse with it though, it doesn't do anything and I get an error message asking if I want to continue running the executable. Do you know what might be causing this and what I can do to get past it?

    Thanks so much!

      Thanks so much,

Technically mgexe is not required but it is generally recommended for every install. Mwse is completely required and it is listed under the requirements on the mod's description, where you can grab the download link. You should also make better efforts to make sure everything is fine on your end before reporting any issues, along with making sure you are reading everything and being completely aware of what you are installing, in this case a mod requiring mwse. Thank you and enjoy your game.
