First off, thank you MD and Mag1cWind0w for sharing your work. I agree that Balmora Pass needs an overhaul, otherwise its a very boring walk to Caldera, but the Great Houses have only been settled fourteen years on Vvardenfell. There is just no way that infrastructure between Balmora and the Emperor's precious ebony is so dilapidated. I've made minor improvements to the whole pass (like decluttering the roads, adding sturdy bridges, and nuking that invisible tree). If the mod authors would like, I can give them the new esp to review and upload.

Is there any chance of you sharing the esp somewhere else? I'd be curious to see another, more lore-friendly version of it.

I hope one of the mod's original authors can give their go at some point.

I would love to see an alternate esp, or a complete remake of the landscape given how high-poly and performance-intensive this mod is. I entirely agree that the Hlaalu would never let the pass grow so dilapidated, though. Still, it's a marvelous mod, and I'm glad I got to experience it at least once, even if only on a test set-up before changing my modlist for the real play-through.

Would it be okay to use this along with Morrowind Watercolored? That's the only thing I'm using this time around that changes textures.

This mod doesn't actually include any textures. If it did, though, what would happen would just be that they wouldn't be in the watercolored style.

Wow, just...wow. This is a work of art. I Took the trip, walking slowly, observing all the details and I loved it. Went back and forth 3 times. Unfortunately I prefer Ozzy groundcover and I'm using Kilcunda Balmora so I'll have to work a bit to make this work but it's absolutely worth it.

This is without a doubt the best landscape design I've ever seen in a Morrowind mod.

It is compatible with Epic Balmora? I Have a floating wooden bridge just after the waterfall one outside Balmora.

You have to load Better Landscapes after Epic Balmora -> no clipping issues -> works fine!
Add it manually to your mlox sorting rules, or download my rules -> https://github.com/Translator5/mlox/tree/rule-base/data

Don't worry I haven't forgotten about this project, I'm currently not available for modding hobby but I hope to complete another place in the future (having done almost the half of another landscape mod around Pelagiad, sometimes working on it when I have enough free time). Anyway I can't promise any release date. ^^

wondering about an NoM [Necessities of Morrowind] compatible version of your edited vurts grass esp.. NoM also has an edited grass generation esp for vurts so I unfortunately don't think I can use both mods at once

also It would still be great to see you do some more areas I would even be willing to help out or take up the mantle of editing Morrowind's landscape myself if you are no longer interested in continuing the mod series.

For anyone who has floating grass with this mod: edit the grass mod with the Enchanted Editor. It works perfectly for me. Just open up the grass mod's .esp, select the cells affected by Stonewood Pass (which are in the description), delete, and save.

Oh this is a good alternative solution besides the other fix using the MW Mesh Generator in a previous comment. Thank you for mentioning it!
