    SPOILER WARNING

Haelp, I need hilp with something.

I'm currently doing the main quest in Omicron and I'm pretty sure I've bugged it,
it is buggered, squandered, maybe even a little floundered. Just a tad.

It would be radical if I could get holp with this.

See am up to point where a get stuff fe the rebel leader, what's his face? Uuuuhh, hang on a sec... Tange Retga.
The part he asks you to get the proof, ah... Is quite broken
I've gotten two out of the three things I need, which is the "solution" and the mystery meat.
Just missing the plague victim bit, that's the part that's broken.

I went into the catacombs and fiddled with the corpse BEFORE I even found the rebel hideout, so the journal entry for that part of quest, before I even got the quest, is logged before all the other entries, whoops, I guess a shouldn't haev doen that should I of?
A solution(ha) to this problem would be nice pls.

    Pls help

I cleaned it and it only has no evil gmsts, just junk cells so delta plugin or tes3merge will automatically fix that.

Does this add a Dwemer submarine to Mzanchend?

*Edit: This has a slight incompatibility with Morag Tong Expanded at Morrowind Nexus - mods and community (nexusmods.com) by the Dwemer ruins outside of Khuul. Load MTE before Deus EX. Also, has a conflict with Dwemer Rebirth Project at Morrowind Nexus - mods and community (nexusmods.com) but if you load DRP after Deus Ex the main entrance won't be glitched and you wont fall through the floor when you enter. You still wont have access to the train though, but I don't think you need it because other Dwemer ruins still have it.

Bit late reaction-wise, but I ran it on OpenMW 0.45 and it worked perfectly.

Umm... a city called Omicron. On lockdown due to a plague. Trainwiz, do you see the future?
Yeah, that part aged like milk.

So I installed this mod, exactly how it was telling me too, but I already have three issues.

First issue, I booted morrowind and immediately got these errors:
Unable to locate reference for global script 'BloodmoonMain'.
Unable to locate reference for global script 'MirisaTeleport'.
Unable to locate reference for global script 'plant2Script'.
Unable to locate reference for global script 'smugdeadScript'.
Unable to locate reference for global script 'bladefixScript'.
Unable to locate reference for global script 'GetPCGold'.
Unable to locate reference for global script 'LA_GoldSpawn'.
Unable to locate reference for global script 'ColonyTimer'.
    Texture "Data Files\Textures\yinpart03.tga" count 171.
    Texture "Data Files\Textures\yinpart02.tga" count 170.
    Texture "Data Files\Textures\yinpart01.tga" count 166.
    Texture "Data Files\Textures\yinpart00.tga" count 174.
    Texture "Textures\_land_default.tga" count 3.
    Texture "Textures\menu_thick_border_bottom_right_corner.dds" count 2.

Second issue, was I supposed to get a key, or pass or something after talking with the census and excise guy? I got nothing and I'm stuck on that Outer something part.

Third issue, why do the guards in the bar dissapear after the drunk one attacks me? And why don't any of the quest giving or unique dialogue npc's work properly? They mention or refer to a possible quest or task but nothing comes out of that.

Can anyone help me with these problems? Thank you in advance

Sounds like your installation is somehow bugged. How did you install the mod? I simply copied it into my Morrowind/Data Files folder and activated the mod through the Morrowind ModOrganizer.

Alright, ready to give my final judgement.

First the good: the writing is quite good and the storyline is fascinating at times. All in all a good early Trainwiz mod.

Next the bad: the level design is not so great and can be very frustrating at times. Morrowind lacks the quest pointers introduced in later games, but the journal entries were very descriptive and detailed to compensate. Not so in Deus Ex Machina. Often, you're told to find this place or that with absolutely no instructions as to its location. The paper map of the Omicron island you can find in-game is very plain and doesn't contain many locations at all. Many times I had to use the construction set to find the place I was supposed to be looking for. The near-total lack of helpful dialogue from the NPCs and the huge number of generic NPCs walking around didn't help much. Perhaps the most glaring example was when I was supposed to find a fish infected with plague from the Outer Omicron. Turns out that the Seedy Merchant who sells you the fish only appears during the night. As far as I can tell, there was absolutely *no* indication or mention of this anywhere at all - I only found out about it after dissecting the entire quest in the Construction Set.

I also get that long, arduous maze levels are probably fun to design, but they're not fun to play though when you're not the designer who knows exactly where to go and what to do. Like, not at all fun to play through. Seriously, I've never heard of anyone who likes to play through maze levels. All they do is add fake length to the game and frustrate people. Thankfully, Trainwiz seems to have learned his lessons and his later mods don't contain nearly as many mazes, but if he's ever going to tinker with this mod again, I suggest removing or at least culling the mazes with a very heavy hand.

Finally, the bugs. There were a number of harmless ones (like getting repeated journal notifications upon entering the city through the sewers), a few larger ones (like somehow ending up with six plague victim bones in the catacombs) and at least one game-breaking one: In the Fabuhall, upon entering the Rainbow Dimension, Unknown Color Room, I was teleported in the middle of an endless sea... with absolutely nothing around me, not even the door to return to the Fabuhall. The coordinates were completly messed up. After using the Construction Set (again, sigh) I found out that you SHOULD find the switch deep underwater right below the door and had to teleport myself to it using the PositionCell console command.

At present, this well-written mod contains numerous examples of just plain bad level desing and seems horribly, horribly broken. It's an old mod, I get it, and Trainwiz has definitely gotten a lot better since then (The Wheels of Lull and Aethernautics mods from Skyrim were both really enjoyable experiences), but I still feel the need to voice my opinions about Deus Ex Machina. It has potential, but it needs to be fixed to live up to that potential.

The Technomancers sent me to a place called Vorhime without giving me any directions. Directions would be nice. And some kind of walkthrough, in case I get lost or are unsure what to do...
