An alternate in-game HUD from the PS2 era. Travel in the past.. 2006 with the second title of Monster Hunter.

Update 1.2:
- Quick fix to get the gauges back once the supply box is close due to recent game update. Opening the slider or the menu will reactivate the HUD if needed.


Coming from a request.  Not as ambitious as the KH HUD but I hope hunters from the PS2 era will enjoy this nostalgia touch.

This HUD includes:
- HP bar with colored status gradient
- Stamina bar
- Quest timer clock
- Moxie skill & Lantern bug
- Hunter status (buffs & debuffs & melodies effects)
- Good old sharpness indicator

It can be scaled to fit your resolution and placed anywhere on the screen. Since the hp/stamina bar take so much space, you can separately move the status area and sharpness gauge. You can also hide the dragon and the sharpness icon. Plus a bonus message "Sharpness decreased". All by using REFramework menu.

I can also recommend the Adjustable UI Scale tool to rearrange the other parts of the rise HUD to get a nice mix of old & new (Using the Extreme mode, you can freely move each part of capcom's hud accross the screen)

Prerequisistes:
- REFramework
- REFramework Direct2D

How to install:
- Unpack the archive to get something like:
MonsterHunterRise/reframework/
autorun/MH2DOS_HUD.lua
data/MH2_DOS/..
images/MH2_DOS/..

- Then run the game, go to the training area and you should see something "new".

In case of error:
Well, be sure all assets folders are in the right place, this is the most common case.
