A few days ago Konami released an official fix for the laser, however they only fixed the front part being invisible and not the issue visible in this video.

Unfortunately my mod is still very much relevant as it does fix this issue. Hopefully one day Konami will realize that the transparency blending cycles are not additive as they were on the PS2.... -
12DEC23 - v2.2.0 and v1.2.0 - ALL LASERS UPDATED
New release with this new page! All versions have been updated with an additional fix correcting transparency issues on the body of the laser sight's mount itself - this is going to be part of a future upload of mine correcting transparency issues on almost HALF THE TEXTURES IN THE GAME....

18NOV23 - v2.1.0 and v1.1.0 release
All of the lasers have been updated with a better quality upscaler! The OG PS2 laser specifically has had a MAJOR change with this update. All the media pics are updated to show off the differences....
