> StardragonEX - Updated for YAML Engine Cores

Following the Clan Invasion of 3049, towards the end of the Battle of Tukkayyid at 3052, the Marauder was one of the chassis chosen for the role of Clan-Buster. Codenamed "Project Devastator", conceived in secret, it is the prototype of the entry for the role, making use of the low-hanging-fruit Double-Engine. Built around the most firepower in mind that led into a 130-ton variant to be created, then eventually downscaled to 100-tons. The Devastator sat in the storage of Terra, until it was unearthed during the Jihad of the Word of Blake, after which it was fool-hardily produced into the variant called the Marauder V, as one of the few Super-Heavy 'Mechs that sought limited success. After the Liberation of Terra, the need of Super-Heavy 'Mechs were realized with the use of the Devastator and the Omega. Typically bespoke, it's numerous variants is not the result of popularity, but of lacking standardization.

Has 15 Variants:

> MDV-DV "Devastator": Spared no expense with top-notch internals and weapons, the Devastator is the basis of all Marauder V, and of the scaled-down Marauder II. It's weapons are a trio of LB10Xs and ERPPCs, and a pair of SRM6s, kept cool with a total of 24 Double Heat-Sinks. Rarely, if ever, it can be seen at the hands of Comstar forces.

> MDV-5A: One of the most common variants out there, done so by forgoing most rare equipment and replaced by more common ones. The Super-Heavy 'Mech as a result was able to be less costly to produce, and justified at the battlefield, that which sparked the further interest to the Super-Heavy Chassis. It is equipped with a trio of AC10s, a pair of Large Lasers and LRM10s. It has one TAG that is typically equipped to direct focus-fire.

> MDV-5B: One of the most common variants out there, done so by forgoing most rare equipment and replaced by more common ones. This focused on fire-support, equipped with a trio of AC5s with a pair of LRM20s and Large Lasers.

> MDV-5C: One of the most common variants out there, done so by forgoing most rare equipment and replaced by more common ones. Proven to be a rugged approach and to be quite popular, it only has 8 Large Lasers that does not run out of ammunition, and is adequately vented by 41 heat-sinks. It has one TAG that is typically equipped to direct focus-fire.

> MDV-5D: Focused on Fire-Suppression, this variant uses six AC5s to pepper targets from afar, but it also has a pair of Large Lasers for backup.

> MDV-5F: One of the initial Artillery refit of the 'Mech, it has three Extended Range Large-Lasers, with a quartet of LRM20s able to rain down on the enemy, and for backup are a quartet of Medium Lasers. It has one TAG that is typically equipped to direct focus-fire.

> MDV-5G: Seeking to be an upgrade to the King-Crab, it has a trio of AC20s, a pair of Large Lasers, and with a single LRM10 for basic long-range harrassment. It has one TAG that is typically equipped to direct focus-fire.

> MDV-5K: A Civil-War approach for the chassis, it has a ludicrous approach of having three Heavy-Gauss Rifles as main armaments, and only a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers for backup and ancilliary use. It has one TAG that is typically equipped to direct focus-fire. For protection it has a ECM for general protection.

> MDV-5L: A Civil-War optimization of the chassis, it makes use of an Improved Heavy-Gauss Rifle able to punch holes at long-range, yet supported by a quartet of ER Large-Lasers, and a single LRM20 for indirect fire-support. It has one TAG that is typically equipped to direct focus-fire.

> MDV-5P: A direct upgrade of the 5C variant, with fully-upgraded internals, it makes use of 7 Binary Lasers. Proved to be still popular, with the availability of Binary Lasers simply just two Large Lasers fused together.

> MDV-5R: Essentially a massive Marauder-3R, it was fielded by the Wolf's Dragoons seeking their own Marauder V. It has two HPPCs and LPLs, with a single HVAC10 -- essentially a more powerful setup than the 3R. But in addition it has a pair of SRM6As, a single TAG, and an ECM.

> MDV-5S: A bonafied artillery refit of the Marauder v, it sports a Long-Tom Cannon and an Arrow-IV, with 3 ERPPCs for long-range support, 3 MPLs for backup, and a single TAG that makes AIV possible to use as direct-fire.

> MDV-TR "Trinity": Coming in full-circle, the Trinity is a refit of the Devastator directly, forgoing the SRMs, switching the trio of ERPPCs to SNPPCs, and replacing the trio of LB10Xs with Ultra AC20s instead. What it lacks in long-range, it makes up for sheer firepower. It was used by Yuna Cassell during the liberation of Terra, intending to face off with the Devastator itself, where it's range advantage is negated by the direct assault on their door.
