I saw no point in going out of my way to pick up yet another salvage crate with 1200 C-Bills and a Lv0 Machine gun. SCAB alters the potential loot in The salvage crates to include weapons and equipment added through Yet another mechlab's weapon and equipment addons. This mod requires Yet another mechlab and it's weapon addons. It took me a long time to crack the way that salvage crates are handled so be patient and report any bugs you find.
The loot is not Lore sensitive as far as what year it pops up. This is intentional as I am very tired of waiting until I already have several top tier lances before the fun equipment shows up. If you want a timeline correct system the closest you are going to get is Yet another mechlab or possibly merctech and even then it goes from nothing to a clan flooded market.
***UPDATE*** I reworked all of the tables. The low end missions should provide more standard equipment The more risk a mission has the more valuable the salvage crates. Crates now contain various quality (Lv.1-5) instead of all Lv. 5. This should make everyone happy as you won't get too rich too fast (apparently that's a problem).
