Don't think I have seen any portrait mods that tackle all the non player company pilots and characters so this is that. Intended to be lore friendly and uniforms and clothes matching pretty well with the factions and roles they are used for. 

Also added additional portraits and personas so there is more variety. Which means at least 10 women and 10 males per main faction, whereas previously there were 3-5 women and men per faction. 

This mod (and all portrait mods) work much better with HUD DIY . It allows you to customise various aspects of the HUD, including the size and position of portraits when comms appear on screen. Results will vary depending on your screen resolution. You need the main DIY file plus the Portraitedit optional file from that page. 

There are two versions - the first has images which have backgrounds. The second has images where there are no backgrounds. They cannot be used together. Both have replacers for every portrait I could find in the base game and all the DLCs. The only portrait that isn't replaced is Ryana's - for that you can choose which one you prefer from my Ryana replacer mod - Ryana Plus at MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) .

Compatible with other portrait mods, shouldn't overwrite or interfere with anything and I've tested it with a load of order of all the usual popular mods (70+ mods active) without issue. So far anyway, it will interfere if any other portrait mods you are using happened to use the same filename for the textures, but that seems like a slim chance to happen.

Ryana Plus - portrait replacer for Ryana with 20 versions to choose from.
BattleChatter - replaces the in game music with military comms chatter.

Almost lore friendly/realistic (probably showing a bit a more skin than is likely but nothing over the top):
Somewhat Raunchy Femme Fatale Portraits Second female portrait replacer, 150 portraits, these ones didn't quite make it into my lore friendly pack as they were showing a bit too much skin.
SR Femme Fatale Portrait Pack Volume 2 - Extended, newer, better version of the above (doesn't replace it, can work alongside it). 2 packs of 575 portraits, totalling 1150.


Almost lore friendly (honest) but not particularly realistic:
Temperature Management Specialist Femme Fatale Portraits - 190 female portraits. Technically there are bits of lore that suggest that pilots wore very little clothing due to heat in the cockpit.... This clearly takes that too far, pretty much all the shots are zoomed out and in skimpy armour.
Temperature Management Specialists - Version 2 of the above pack, better quality and consistency, more eclectic and colourful characters, Around 1100 portraits.
NSFW FF Portraits at MechWarrior - a couple of smallish (100-200) packs of fully NSFW portraits.

Others:
Pinup Emblems 50 pinup style patch badges/company emblems.
