Missing DA2 magic? Well, now you can have a Bloodmage/ Force Mage build for Shepard! I made this for my Renegade Male Shepard and am sharing if others might like the build too.

**Note** For some reason, if powers don't show right away, try saving and reloading. A lot of people doing similar mods have
also had these problems. I am still looking into it, but for the time being, just grab your gear from the locker and do a save and reload and you should be good to go.

I have a list of reasons why I think Dragon Age is a Mass Effect's far past. If you were on the BioWare forums back around 2011-2012, you might even have read it. The other day my daughter and I talked about Inquisition and how my bloodmage Hawke was suddenly anti his dang class in my games like BioWare forgot you could actually be a bloodmage DA2.

So I got to thinking about my renegade mage Hawke who was a bloodmage/ Force Mage, and how I could convert that to a Vanguard and came up with this.

His skill set is:

Dominate - Blood Slave
Blood slave enslaves a target, forcing it to fight alongside the party for a short time. Dominate does the same thing.


Reave - Grave Robber
Grave Robber now drains a small amount of health from living enemies as well, using that energy to heal the mage.  Reave works exactly the same way.


Neural Shock - Hemorrhage
Hemorrhage spell corrupts the blood of all foes in the targeted area, inflicting damage over a short duration without regard for enemy armor or damage resistance. Creatures without blood are immune like synthetics are in ME to neural Shock.  (I know, Neural Shock is a tech power and Vanguards aren't techs, but it is perfect for the blood mage loadout and this is more about creating a mage in ME, besides it is a bonus power Shep can choose ;) )

Shockwave - Telekinetic Burst
The mage summons a wave of telekinetic force that hurtles enemies away from the core of the blast. Shockwave does as well.

Biotic Charge - Blood Magic
Ok, so bear with me here, but Vanguards risk everything to get up close and personal with an enemy. They take high risks to their own health and shields to try and take down an enemy up close. Blood magic feeds on the caster's life force to fuel their spells and while it is powerful, you also risk everything, including your life, to take down your enemies.

For bonus powers:

Slam works exactly like Fist of the Maker in the Force Mage Spells. The mage slams enemies into the ground with incredible power, against which armor is no protection.

Fortification is similar to Unshakeable, also in the Force Mage Spells. The mage suppresses the physical and elemental force of incoming attacks, becoming nearly immune to knockdown or other effects that interrupt combat.

In the DA world, Magic can cut through anything, so the above mod allows Shepard's powers to penetrate shields, armor, and barrier, just like magic can.
