You did a great job! But I need to know: can I install your ReShade after I've installed ALOT & MEUITM? I've never installed mods for Mass Effect before so I don't know the thing :D
So if you wanted to use something like sweetFX and the EMB that comes with that, you are able to apply this ReShade preset as well or no?
Edit: Note to self: no.
I honestly couldn't install this correctly for the life of me, I believe i have both things in the correct place but reshade won't appear in the corner even when running it as administrator so i decided to go download the reshade and sweetFX just to see if it would work and it did so, I'm not sure why it's not working even though i really wanna use this preset
Download version 1.1 and follow the updated instructions. The ReShade installer has changed quite a bit since I wrote the original description.
The normal procedure to use ENB with ReShade/SweetFX/other dlls is to rename the other dll, activate EnableProxyLibrary and edit ProxyLibrary with the new dll name. But I haven't used ENBs in ME so I'm saying this based solely on my experience with Skyrim ENBs.
Just wanted to say, thank you so much for making this! Ir's simple but effective, which is what I love in enb shaders. I don't like the ones that are extremely overloaded on the effects. I can't play mass effect 2/3 without it now :D
If Reshade doesn't work (menu doesn't appear at launch) in Mass Effect 2, try launching the game in Administrator mode.
Reshade also has updated their shader library massively and I'm not sure if the preset works any longer. There is a small difference in image quality when I toggle it on/off with the keybind, but the difference is not at all game-changing.
No, that's not how it works. Unless there have been massive changes to the shaders in question or ReShade itself, presets don't just stop working. Read what crosire himself says in this thread. ReShade version 3.0 was released nearly 4 years ago.
And this preset uses three basic shaders, all of which are still part of the ReShade suite. If you're not seeing a difference in your game, then you haven't put the files in the right place.
Yeah well, the ReShade is definitely working as it appears in game and it's using only three of the many, many filters available (if you install the whole package). I can toggle it on and off and there are no errors, yet the difference isn't that huge (I still think it's more noticeable in the screenshots though). But thanks for the preset though, I already endorsed it earlier when I was using the preset last time I played the game but didn't mod it as thoroughly as now.
It actually looks pretty great with ALOT textures and videos and with unlocked framerate (and this preset of course), it's like a totally new game now.
By 'the difference isn't that huge', if you mean it doesn't drastically alter your visuals, then yes, it doesn't. As I've mentioned in my description, its a subtle preset that's meant to enhance vanilla visuals, not make major changes.
But if you mean the color grading part isn't taking effect i.e. toggling the LUT.fx shader on/off doesn't make any difference, then I'll say it again: you've not put the files in the right place. A couple of people had the same issue using the ME3 version because they didn't put LUT.png in the textures folder. I don't have ME2 installed right now, but I swapped out my current Witcher 3 preset with this one and its still working exactly as its supposed to.
I'm aware you've used this preset in the past which is why its all the more surprising that you're having trouble getting it to work now. And clearly it did what its supposed to otherwise you wouldn't have endorsed it. So either the preset isn't working as intended on your system this time around or you're looking for a stronger visual change in which case you'll need to try a different preset.
Idk why, but AA wont work with this Reshade, selecting AA in nvidia driver panel or inspector makes no changes in game. Maybe its because SMAA effect selecting in reshade.
I'm afraid I can't. These images were taken during my previous playthrough over a year ago. Neither do I have the game installed right now nor do I have multiple saves to take screenshots in different locations. Sorry.
Just recently getting into this headmorph stuff so I'd appreciate that as well. Took me a while to reply btw, I thought you never responded. Turns out I've been looking at the wrong notifications the whole time, had to return to this page to see for myself
You can download the headmorph from the Misc Files section.
Btw, you don't need to return to a specific page to find out if someone's replied to you. Just look at the the bell icon at the top. It should have a counter over it when you have pending notifications e.g. someone's replied to your comment or commented on your mod page, site news, etc. You'll be notified no matter where you are on the site.

Btw, just to clarify, this is not an ENB preset. You can combine ENB & ReShade if you wanted to, but mine's purely a ReShade preset.

But if you like this one better, continue using it. You can use these presets with any one of the games.
There's a link to a guide on the ME ALOT pages that shows how to force AA and AO in the ME games.
Care to share her face codes? <3
Lmk if you want the ME2/ME3 headmorph of this FemShep. You can see the ME3 version in the pics on the ME3 Illusive ReShade page.

you should check out the optional asari skin textures on the alot installer. they look really good.
Yeah, they do. But unfortunately I installed them after I took these shots.
