Changelogs
Version 0.2
Added path-fence gates.
Temporarily removed Dirt Path (Lights) and the two Tour Tracks to avoid crashes.
Current Features Standalone Content. New files, doesn't affect existing files.
Dirt Paths and Invisible Paths are not the same thing.
Dirt Paths leave a bit of dirt on the ground.
Invisible Paths are completely invisible.
There is a rare bug that can crash the game if you connect an invisible path to a building before it has finished constructing. A crash here is still very unlikely, but avoid doing so if possible.
Invisible paths do not remove low/medium foliage. So you can use Wide paths to remove more trees than Narrow paths, but both will leave the grass alone.
Invisible paths can have any terrain underneath them. In the 2nd demo video, I use invisible paths with dirt painted under them - you can use this to get a really messy, natural path effect.
Invisible paths are invisible - deleting them can be tricky if you forget where you placed them. You can replace them with normal paths or "connect" normal paths to them to find them more easily.
The Land Bridge Tool creates an invisible path where it is. You can delete this path once the land is created and build regular paths or tour rides over the very narrow piece of land it made. It's incredibly useful for adding fine detail into swamps without breaking them as terrain brushes are quite large.
Tour Tracks currently do not connect buildings to the monorail and guests can't use them. They are purely decorational.
Some paths don't appear in JW era - this is because JP paths currently crash the game if built in JW era parks. This is a known script issue and will be fixed once it can be edited.
The paths feature full Ultimate Mixed Eras integration.
--------------- Path-Fence Gates Info ---------------
Spoiler:
Show
Guests currently do not walk through the gates physically as there is no path there. BUT:
Buildings on the other side of the gate will be connected to your entrance. SO:
Guests will spawn on both sides of the gate.
Watch the top-right video below for a demo of how the gates work.
Every now and again a gate won't let you connect paths to it. To fix this... Just delete it and build a new one.
Ranger jeeps can pathfind through the Square Gates, so you can also use them as Jeep access gates.
Extra gates (Jurassic Park gates and Jeep Tour Gates) are added by Ultimate Mixed Eras.
* No existing paths were hurt in the making of this mod.
