What features does the mod contain?
The mod comes in two packages.
- EPPF contains all the main, thoroughly tested features of the mod.
- EPPF Experimental contains all the new features of the mod that need some more testing. Most of them are perfectly safe, but you need to read the Experimental Notes to make sure what is what, and where to find everything.
The features are as follows (anything in bold is found in EPPF Experimental):
- Very Narrow versions of each JW and JP path
- Invisible Path - don't remove any low/medium foliage, only trees)
- Invisible Path (Wide) - wider tree removal
- Dirt Path (V. Narrow)
- Dirt Path (Narrow)
- Dirt Path (Wide)
- Land Bridge Tool - A path that lets you carve very precise, narrow slices of water using an invisible path.
- Monorail Track that can be interconnected like a path (for decoration)
- Guest Path Gates that let you continue your park over a fence
- Dirt Track (Lights) for JP Jeep Tours
- Invisible Fences
- Decorational Dirt Path (Lights)
- JP Tour Track (Dirt)
- JP Tour Track (Asphalt)
How do I install the mod?
- Open the zip file you get when you download the mod.
- Inside the zip file, go into EPPF -> ovldata.
- Select everything within that "ovldata" folder and drag it into your game directory's "ovldata" folder under: "(...)\Jurassic World Evolution\Win64\ovldata\".
Where do I find my my game directory?
This is different between Steam and Epic Games, so Google it for whichever platform you use!
But I don't have an EPPF folder in my game directory!
I never said you do, only that you should put the new folder there. It's a new DLC-like package that the game reads from a new folder.
I have installed a path retexture mod. Will that affect this mod?
Only slightly. The paths will still be added, but they'll use the same texture as the one you installed.
Does the mod replace <X>?
No. All these items are new.*
*: There can still be ID conflicts if another mod changes object IDs for some reason.
Is the mod compatible with <x> mod?
The mod contains all new files. Aside from ID conflicts, yes.
The mod contains a Main.ovl - does this not make it incompatible?
This comes from assuming everything in JWE is within Content0. The game contains 13 Main.ovls, one in each folder within ovldata (aside from voice-over). This Main.ovl is a new one, in a new folder.
I can't find Invisible Fences, Gates, etc!
These features are still in EPPF Experimental. You need to install that module in order to use them.
Gates are found within the EPPF Gates submenu. This submenu is at the top of the Scenery tab.
Decorational tracks are found within the EPPF Gates submenu.
Invisible Fences are found under the Fence menu.
What is EPPF Experimental?
They're new additions to the mod that need a bit of info to be used properly. Most people disregard any info I put on the mod page, so I've put them into a separate download to make sure people notice and hopefully follow the link to the notes.
These currently include:
- Guest Path Gates
- Decorational Tour Track (Grass)
- Decorational Tour Track (Asphalt)
- Decorational Dirt Track (Lights)
- New Invisible Fences
- No-Rail Tracks (with Lights) for Jeep Tours
Is Experimental safe?
If you follow the instructions, yes. There is currently a problem with one of the special tour paths, but that problem will only happen if you don't read the warning Experimental notes. All other features should be safe to use.

And finally...
Can you make the mod injectable?
You didn't read the rest of this page or the description.
No.
The mod adds new files to the game. It does not edit any existing Main.ovl. You do not have these files, so you'd have nothing to inject them into.
I can make the mod injectable into Content0\Main.ovl, but this will replace any other path/mixed eras/etc mods you use.
The way the mod is set up right now, nothing needs to be replaced.
