Like I said in the description of the mod, the primary goal of the mod is to be able to toggle the whole HUD quickly to take clean screenshots. You can disable single HUD elements in game options or meanwhile someone made a mod that allows you to toggle single HUD elements with hotkeys, you might want to check it out: Toggle HUD Elements or Toggle HUD Elements (UE4SS)
Hi there. While I have installed UE4SS I'm using the version that do not use it. All seems to work well but [ESC] key is disabled. I can't access to the [ESC] features anymore. I disabled the mod in Vortex and the [ESC] key is working again. The problem occurs both on HUD visible and hidden. You mod is the first I have installed after the utilities (UE4SS, Apparate, UICore). I'm using the latest version of HL, because I started to play again after a lot of time, so I decided to reinstall everything from scratch. I suppose that being the mod based on a DLL you are intercepting keypresses to do the work, so there is something about the bypass of [ESC] key press that's not configured properly. Please, check it out, because I love your mod. I should prefere to play without any HUD, for immersion. Thanks
Which Windows version do you have? i need the extract build version. You can use cmd command systeminfo | findstr /B /C:"OS Name" /B /C:"OS Version" to find out.
Overall, I tested both versions of the mod and they work with the latest game version. The method I use to check for key input is noninvasive and it can't cause problems with any hotkeys of the game. The only thing I can think of is that maybe xinput1_3.dll has changed in the latest Windows 11 build, but that is less likely.
Please, check it out, because I love your mod. I should prefere to play without any HUD, for immersion.
There are in game options that let you disable single HUD elements, if you want to play the game without HUD. I made the mod primary for quick screenshots, because it's not convenient to go each time in settings and switch it off.
I cant get it to work. backtracked to previous version didnt work either. Not sure what to do. Went into the files and changed F9 to F2 - neither works. Not even before i changed them. Reinstall didnt work either. I have UE4SS.
Please help. Dont know what I am doing wrong. It worked beautifully before.
So I just checked the mod works just fine. I've repacked it for Vortex, since as I was releasing the mod Vortex weren't supporting the automatic installation.
EDIT: Oh you're talking about UE4SS. UE4SS currently doesn't work for the game. Please use the standalone version.
Would it be at all possible to create a HUD brightness/opacity option as well? To me that would be more important than what the other mods offer, namely the toggling of the elements. A brightness/opacity option would really tie the room together :)
Hi there :) ! Would you know, per any chance, how to keep the aiming circle enabled and in-world markers while using this mod ? That would be a relief :) !

Hello, I don't have the cracked version and therefore the mod has no support for it. It works with the latest game version (1126182), doesn't matter if Deluxe or not. If you have the latest version, please copy paste me the content of the xinput1_3.log that should be located in the Win64 directory, where you put the xinput1_3.dll.
When exactly does it crash? Do you use any other mods? You can try to use the UE4SS version. If xinput1_3.log is empty, it's hard for me to find out what is the problem and I haven't implemented error into the mod dll itself.
Have you tried the UE4SS Version of the mod? With xinput1_3.dll from the UE4SS mod? Also could you please try to use xinput1_3.dll and delete the HogwartsHudToggler.dll. This way I will know if the mod dll causes the crash or the xinput1_3.dll. If you want to help me to get it fixed, you can also add me on Discord for easier communication: Igromanru#3817

I haven't ever used the command line you gave me.
What kind of output should I expect?
I'll be glad to send you the result.
