What is this?
In order to play granblue fantasy relink your CPU must support AVX2, failing to do so prevents the game from booting up.
This mod is using Intels SDE tool to emulate the missing AVX2 instruction on older cpus.
Awesome right? Well.. this comes at a performance hit, you should see anywhere from 20 to 40 fps. From what I can tell the game still seems to run at full speed at 20+ fps, likely due to consoles dropping below 30 fps. Capping your framerate at 30 in the ingame settings is probably the way to go with this.
Installation:
1. Download this mod and unzip it in to your game folder, usually at: steamapps\common\Granblue Fantasy Relink
2. Use the included GFR-SDE-Launcher.bat to start Granblue Fantasy Relink. (Steam must be running in the background)
It should launch within 1-2min, depending on your CPU and SSD/HDD.
To get the best performance SDE must be run as an administrator so my launcher will ask for permissions to do so. I lost almost 10 fps across the board without it.
