I can't explore the two outposts between Slaughter House and Cock-Fights, because during the first mission I had to attack them due to the impossibility of bypassing them. I tried to first complete the first three main missions in the game and then install the patch, but in this case the respawn timer for enemies at outposts doesn't work for me.
UPD: I dealt with the problem by waiting for the enemies to respawn using a banal acceleration of time through the Cheat Engine. My problem was that I changed the respawn time in the game files from 45 minutes to 200 hours.
Once you download the mod you open the 'Patched File' folder and make your two choices about saving and if you want flashing items by clicking the folders. After those choices you will see two folders: 'bin' and a 'Data_Win32'. Copy these into your Far Cry 2 directory. If you don't know how to find your directory it will be different depending on if you have the game on Steam or GOG etc, but you can google this or these launchers will have options to open the directory if you right click or look through the properties menu, that kind of thing. You'll know you found it when you see some existing 'bin' and a 'Data_Win32' folders as well as some other folders and files. Copy the modded 'bin' and 'Data_Win32' folders in there, and agree to replace the existing files.
Thank you, I followed your instructions and it worked, the predecessor tapes are in the game, but a thing that I don't know how to activate is to turn off the brown filter.

If remaped keybinding "use", and "exit vehicle" from key E to key F ----> bug in stationar guns (m249, m50 browning, mk19) we can`t exit key F, but key E it`s OK. Please FIX this BUG. 2. In Scubrah's Patch we may watch our clock key I... in patch 2.1 I want to this. 3. AR15 rifle shot 3 rounds... real to release fullauto? Thank you very much!!!
Does this patch also fix the well known PC bug where phone calls stop working/are silent until you restart the game? This is the only thing I'd really need fixed
There is no known way to completely fix that bug, but play using Directx9 and with the fps capped at 60 (as it is with this mod) and it's very unlikely you will run into it.

I've read the manual and I've tried to figure it out, but I can't.
