    uModMenuMusicAttnmB = 800
    bStreamingWallEnabled=0
    bDisableSplash=1 ;disables atom shop splash when you start the game.

    Try one of these:
    MUS_MainTheme.xwm
    MUS_Special_51_MainTheme.xwm
    MUS_Special_BOS_MainTheme.xwm
    MUS_Special_Wastelanders_MainTheme.xwm

    Fallout76.ini in My Games gets overwritten by the one in the game folder every time you start the game.
    Could always try editing it:
    sResourceStartUpArchiveList = StartupMusicExampleName.ba2, SeventySix - Interface.ba2, SeventySix - Localization.ba2, SeventySix - Shaders.ba2, SeventySix - Startup.ba2, StartupMusicExampleName.ba2

    Could also replace the files inside Startup.ba2 itself.

    datasnake01 who made Quick Configuration posted instructions on Rad World Radio how to repack sound mods so they work.
    That could also be your issue.

    Not one of the music replacers is working for me and I'm blanking on why, anyone here can point me towards the right correction?

    I'm replacing the mainmenuloop, it works.

    I'm placing the ba file from the mod I try to install into Data.

    I'm changing the song name the Customini is pointing towards, and for good measure I did the same in Fallout76.ini in the game folder.

    Still, no music playing!

    What do I do wrong?

      I did, i'm not seeing anything that I'm not already doing.

      Let me elaborate, I've added all the extra lines to the .ini, I already did that but to be sure I did it to both Custom.ini and the gamefolder ini.

      sMainMenuMusic = Data\Music\Special\MUS_Special_BOS_MainTheme.xwm ;set this correctly if your mod doesn't replace this it won't work.

      What do you mean with "if your mod doesn't replace this it won't work?"

      Do you mean the song name I have to replace there?

      For clarification, I've tried to install Menu Music Replacer - Fallout 4 Intro Cinematic Music and Fallout 76 Trailer Main Menu (With Music). Would love the first one to wor, but more people report problems there, the second one I'm struggling with right now.

      Appreciate your help if you care to take a look!

      Edit: Okay I've tried a third one and this one does work! It's The 100 Opening Styled Menu Replacer. I did exactly as the instructions said, including of course the file from this mod. I guess this is just something internally wrong with the previous 2?

      Knowledge on the subject has been lost due to me just not really messing around with this game in many years. Try extracting the audio with Archive2 and repacking it into the mod that works? Click Rad World Radio in the sticky post, go to the post I referred to, and read the instructions. The video has since been lost.

      This is referring to an audio file btw, the audio file is in the .ba2 archive of mods. Need to extract the audio file and replace the one in the vanilla startup.ba2 for it to work pretty sure, that's what the comment is referring to though it is a bit vague. Could also try Baka's Loose File Loader, though I've never used it.

      Oh man I feel like a god, but I got it working. I simply used Archive2 to look into the ba, find the special path and put that in just to try it out. Never thought it would be that simple because I imagined it was something else that was messed up, but just me putting the correct xwm line into Custom.ini was enough!

      Thanks for the advice!

    I'm using it in Starfield and loving it. It is a lot lighter on the ssd than the vanilla and the replacers. Thanks!

    Would this also work for Fallout 4?
    I know it has the same problem and never found a fix for it

      For Fallout 4 I never needed it.
