I didnt like the strings... i downloaded the old .ba2 file, stuck it in, added the parameters for it, and it loads fine, no crashing.... it shows the answers like always, since i just need the ba2 mod to show answers, *4th account* ill unload it if it causes issues... so far no issues for my foodbuild.
doesnt work in german, 10 august, 2023. - and if it does, you need to edit it on your own with programs and nobody got time for that. im just a monkey. i want to press download and it should work on its own.
so...for anybody else, no need to download. its not supported anymore.
OK i am trying to get this mod to work read tutorial on site and at point of pulling hair out of head trying to get this to work. is there any pre done ones for for more recent version i can just download somewhere i am so stressed with this i am done with it lol.
I'm not sure how editing the string files could cause UI elements to not display to be honest. Make sure when you edited the INI files you didn't accidentally delete or overwrite any of the default archives being loaded. I.e. if the interface BA2 is no longer listed in the INI file that might cause your issue (that's all I can think of anyways).
But if you really want to uninstall the mod, the easiest way would be to delete the string files and restore the backups. If you didn't make any backups (I think xTrans makes them automatically?), delete the entire Strings folder and then validate the game files through the Bethesda Launcher (or is it Steam now yet?) to force it to redownload them.
(Sorry I haven't played F76 in years - I think all of the above is correct.)

If you're using the SST dictionary version, you will need to manually merge it with the new string files from this version of the game!

I ask because, since installing, I no longer have objective markers in game lol (yes, this started directly following the installation)
