About this mod
This is Halloween! We've been busy decorating Appalachia for you to experience Halloween in all its glory! (Well, almost, it's still a WiP)
- Permissions and credits
This mod adds a lot of lights, Jack 'o' Lanterns and other decorations to all regions of Appalachia, so you could feel the spooky atmosphere of the season! Bethesda just doesn't care about making the world more festive and eerie, but we do. This mod is a work in progress, we plan to add more stuff to it over time, so stay tuned for the updates!
Recommendations
Installation
1. Extract the ba2 files from the main archive you've downloaded to your Fallout76/Data folder.
2. Check whether you've got the Fallout76Custom.ini file under Documents/My Games/Fallout 76 folder, and if not, create it.
2a. If you've just created the .ini file, you need to open it and input this string in it: [Archive]
3. Find sResourceArchive2List = line under the [Archive] section of your Fallout76Custom.ini or type it down if there is no such line.
4. Add " ,Hal_M.ba2 , Hal_T.ba2" to the end of the sResourceArchive2List line.
Note: As this mod includes a lot of actual lightsources, it probably will lower your overall FPS. I haven't noticed any noticeable performance loss on my end though (I'm running the game on 3070Ti @2560*1440 res, average FPS is around 85 with this mod for me)

Uninstallation
1. Remove the corresponding files from your Fallout76/Data folder
2. Remove the corresponding filenames from sResourceArchive2List string of your Fallout76Custom.ini file

It should be noted that this mod is a simple texture/mesh replacer which offers the player no benefit or advantage over other players while playing Fallout 76.
Use this mod at your own risk, though.
On the bright side, no one has ever been banned for using my mods. Tens of thousands of downloads and counting since 2019, I have yet to hear one complaint about bans for my mods usage.
Recommendations
- Enchanted Forests mod to add to the mysterious atmosphere, that one and Halloween in Appalachia are indeed a match made in heaven :D Check out the screenshots section to see how they look together.
- Silent Hill Nuke Launch Siren is a quite nice and spooky addition.
- We recommend trying the mod with Fallout Worlds with a Dark Bog weather setting for truly remarkable results! (If you don't have FO1st, the current flavor of the month for the Public World conveniently features that exact weather setting)
- A Post-Nuclear Appalachian Halloween Monsters mod is also a great addition to Halloween atmosphere
