Changelogs
Re-release of my Clean Ceilings Variety mod from about a year ago, now with...

  • More roof kits covered (now including log cabin, haunted house, order of mysteries and responders (season 8 reward) kits in addition to standard and asbestos camp roof kits)
  • More color options for different ceiling types and an ability to use separate ceiling designs for every roof type they are available for.
  • Total of 11 color options/designs available for every roof type, floor ceilings included, even farmable and shelter ones!
  • Animated starscape with twinkling stars now available, check out the video (better seen at the highest quality)

Version 1.1 contents

  • New! All of the below options are now available for Farmable tiles and Shelter (Vault) floors!
  • Twinkling Animated Starscape - multicolored twinkiling and glowing stars
  • Glowing Stars roof and floor ceilings - uses the Season 1 Stars wallpaper texture. Looks best with my A.W.R. mod!
  • Glossy Red roof and floor ceilings - add some modern chic to your humble abode!
  • Glossy Black roof and floor ceilings - for more modern interiors
  • Plaster roof and floor ceilings - greyish plaster ceilings
  • Popcorn roof and floor ceilings in different colors
  • Painted roof and floor ceilings in different colors - less pronounced texture than popcorn, a tiny bit grainy though

Installation
1. Extract the ba2 file(s) from the archive you've downloaded to your Fallout76/Data folder.
2. Check whether you've got the Fallout76Custom.ini file under Documents/My Games/Fallout 76 folder, and if not, create it.
2a. If you've just created the Fallout76Custom.ini file, you need to open it and input this string in it: [Archive]
3. Find sResourceArchive2List = line under the [Archive] section of your Fallout76Custom.ini or type it down if there is no such line.
4. If you've downloaded Standard/Asbestos Roof Ceilings archive, add  " ,CeilingMat.ba2, CeilingM.ba2, CeilingT.ba2" to the end of the sResourceArchive2List  line.

4a. If you've downloaded Log Cabin Roof Ceilings archive, add  " ,CeilingMat.ba2, CeilLCM.ba2, CeilingT.ba2" to the end of the sResourceArchive2List  line.
4b. If you've downloaded Mistress of Mystery Roof Ceilings archive, add  " ,CeilingMat.ba2, CeilMMM.ba2, CeilingT.ba2" to the end of the sResourceArchive2List  line.
4c. If you've downloaded Responders Roof Ceilings archive, add  " ,CeilingMat.ba2, CeilRspM.ba2, CeilingT.ba2" to the end of the sResourceArchive2List  line.
4d. If you've downloaded Haunted House Roof Ceilings archive, add  " ,CeilingMat.ba2, CeilHHM.ba2, CeilingT.ba2" to the end of the sResourceArchive2List  line.
5. If you've downloaded either of the Floor Ceilings archives, add  " ,CeilFMat.ba2 ,CeilingFM.ba2, CeilingT.ba2" to the end of the sResourceArchive2List  line.
5a. If you've downloaded either of the Farmable Tile Ceilings archives, add  " ,CeilFMat.ba2 ,CeilFarmM.ba2, CeilingT.ba2" to the end of the sResourceArchive2List  line.

5b. If you've downloaded either of the Shelter Floor Ceilings archives, add  " ,CeilFMat.ba2 ,CeilShM.ba2, CeilingT.ba2" to the end of the sResourceArchive2List  line.

Please note that different ceiling options use the same base files (like CeilingMat.ba2 or CeilingT.ba2), so you don't need to duplicate their names for each consequent ceiling option you install. If you already have one of them, you just need to add to the ini the filenames that are actually different from what you already have installed. This way you can have all sorts of ceilings under different roof kits at once. For example, you can have white popcorn ceiling for the haunted house roof kit, and at the same time black glossy ceiling for the responders roof kit, animated starscape ceiling for the log cabin roof kit, and even some other option for the floor ceilings. Mix and match as you like!

Note: Don't worry if the archive you've downloaded does not contain some of the files listed in your .ini, some variations of this mod like the "Plaster" ceilings are supposed to work without additional texture/material archives, while others use all of them. Having additional filenames in the designated .ini string won't cause any problems in any case.

Note: Only you will see this retexture/mesh in your game, other players will still see ceilings they have in their game, so it's just for your own aesthetic pleasure and screenshotting purposes.

Disclaimer
Currently Bethesda has made a note that the use of mods may lead to game improperly functioning. You can read it here: https://help.bethesda.net/app/answers/detail/a_id/44429/kw/mod
It should be noted that this mod is a simple texture replacer which offers the player no benefit or advantage over other players while playing Fallout 76.
Use this mod at your own risk, though.
On the bright side, no one has ever been banned for using my mods. Tens of thousands of downloads and counting, I have yet to hear one complaint about bans for my mods usage.
