The Drumlin Diner is - for most players - their first encounter with a quest that offers you a real choice. Yet, the location seems like it was an afterthought: there are gaps in the architecture, the pavement clips through the floor, and there is no sign in general that it has been inhabited over the past 200 years. The skeletons are not even in closets. This mod aims to bring a subtle improvement that blends in and makes the location come to life.

General architecture fixes: building floating above pavement, gaps between counters, etc.

NPC fixes: Trudy and Patrick are no longer unarmed, waiting for the vault dweller to come save them. Trudy has a shotgun, Patrick a switchblade.

Story fixes: Location reflects it's inhabitants. Updates if Wolfgang moves in.

Includes custom models / textures. These can be considered a modder's resource, with the exception of releasing them as constructible settlement items (I eventually plan to make a pack.)

Works on existing saves where you've already completed the Drumlin questline, but use a fresh save for best results. Can be uninstalled if you've visited the Drumlin Diner again after completing the questline (to allow script to complete).


Drumlin NPCs

Adds dog.

Contains face fixes for Trudy, Wolfgang, Patrick, and Simone.

Gives Wolfgang a 10mm instead of a pipe pistol and a unique outfit (greaser jacket with boots, includes female mesh).


Compatibility

Main file: Should be compatible with most things, as long as they do not edit the interior of the diner / require previs for the location. Does not edit any NPCs or quests.

Compatible with Drumlin Diner Settlement. Load Drumlin settlement before this mod, don't use disable precombines patch. There will be one blue truck that you might have to disable with the console (or scrap, since it's a settlement mod and all).

This can be used with Drumlin Diner - After The Fallout without major issues. Duplicate objects (most notably the sign) can be deleted with the console.

NPC file: incompatible with mods that edit the Drumlin NPCs directly. Probably compatible with Drumlin settlement main mod and incompatible with the optional file that adds settler behavior to the NPCs.
