Great preset. I love gritty and realistic. I don't think most people would have access to makeup in such a world, let alone clean water for bathing. My go-to before yours was Sara the Survivor Sara The Survivor - Looksmenu Preset at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community. Yours is going right into my next new game.
Looks good. Good to see a face that looks like it could be a for a real person, as opposed to idealised jail-bait.
If I might offer some advice, you could package up your preset in a zip like this:
F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets\preset_name.json
and users of mod managers (such as MO2, Vortex) could use their manager to download and immediately install your mod.
By default, mods get installed in the Data folder, so packing your mod as shown above will automatically install it where it needs to be. It's entirely optional, of course; this just makes it easier for your users.
I don't know how to package things, I know little-to-none about formatting for a mod manager but I will look into it. Thank you for your tip, and I'm glad you like the preset!
Ok, let's start by creating a folder Preset_Packager, say, somewhere you can find it easily. The Desktop might work.
So, inside this new folder, let's create four more folders:
F4SE Plugins F4EE Presets
and we'll also drop our preset_name.json in there also.
Now, drag your preset into Presets. Then drag Presets into F4EE, F4EE into Plugins, and Plugins into F4SE. Right click on the F4SE folder, zip it with whatever is your default archiver, and rename your archive to the name of your preset.
Now, if you open your archive, you'll see that the path to your preset matches the path needed in your Data folder. When you give that archive to a mod manager, either manually, or by the Download button on a mod page, the mod manager will drop your preset just where it needs to be.
You can use this Preset_Packager folder each time you have a new preset to upload. Just remember to remove the old one before zipping!
