About this mod
This mod adds the Soviet DP-28 LMG to the game. It is a Standalone Update of my first ever mod: "DP-27 Degtyaryov Machine Gun".

The DP-28, also known as the Degtyaryov light machine gun, was a pivotal Soviet infantry weapon during World War II. Designed by Vasily Degtyaryov and introduced in 1928, the DP-28 featured a distinctive top-mounted pan magazine with a 47-round capacity. Renowned for its robustness, reliability, and ease of use, the DP-28 could withstand harsh battlefield conditions and required minimal maintenance. It utilized a gas-operated system with a relatively slow rate of fire, enhancing control and accuracy. The DP-28 played a crucial role in Soviet infantry tactics, providing essential suppressive fire and significantly contributing to the Red Army's efforts during the war.
This Project is a fresh Remake of my first ever mod - "DP-27 Degtyaryov Machine Gun".
I've learned a lot about materials and implementation since then and wanted to share
the new version with you all.

Showcase
Installation
Install using the Mod Manager of choice. Enable "WWII - SOV Weapon DP28.esp".
Known Issues
- Powerarmor animations are broken in 3rd person.
- Reload animations have a bit of clipping.
- I will return to this Project once I learn weapon animation.
