Sunshine Tidings Co-op has always been an easy settlement to acquire, right? Not anymore, this mod turns it into hunting grounds for a duo of ghoul cannibals.

Stranger Commonwealth seeks to add more life to the Commonwealth through encounters and unmarked quests, taking inspiration from other Fallout titles. The idea is to "fill the gaps" Bethesda left us with some underwhelming locations or underdeveloped  concepts. All in all, this is just an excuse to jam in more content, from darker creepier stuff we've seen in other titles to wacky, maybe even Wild Wasteland-worthy stuff.

The first entry to the series is Sunshine & Cannibals, which surprisingly, has some happy coincidences with the newly released show.

This mod changes the lack-luster encounter in Sunshine Tidings Co-op into an actual interesting fight for the settlement. Instead of a few critters and Feral Ghouls, a duo of Cannibal Ghouls has moved into the location and are using it as hunting grounds, they're cautiously waiting for a wastelander or two to wander in.

And don't think this is their first rodeo, they're proper boss enemies, both Level 15, well equiped, their stats are higher than average, each one also has an unique legendary weapon, so taking that settlement in early game won't be easy at all. But once you do kill them, their unique weapons and outfits are yours to take, if you want to.



  • An encounter with 2 Unique Boss NPCs
  • 2 Unique Weapons and 2 Unique Outfit Sets
  • 2 notes with some backstory.
  • Feral Ghouls in Sunshine Tidings removed and/or replaced with dead ones.
  • Dead settlers and a raider with some some loot.
  • Strange Meat and a few recipies for it introduced so you can be have an "occasional cannibal" episode.
  • ESL-ified plugin, won't contribute to the plugin limit.
  • A cool hat.

This mod is best installed on a clean save or one where the player hasn't gone near or cleared the settlement, yet. Installing it mid-game, after building stuff in the settlement can yield... mixed results that aren't recommended.

Any mods that change the layout of Sunshine Tidings will need a patch.
