I give up. I removed the Xbox version and have zero intention to try get it up again.
I don't know why the upload keeps failing so spectacularly, but I have actual things I ENJOY working on instead of beating my head against the wall for a system I can't test on. Done.

The sole option here are the Workshop Access Hatches. They allow you to access the inventory of the interior workshop from the outside.
It does not work for me (it is being built but is not displayed and there is no interaction).

Hey there!  Thank you for making this mod, its one of the best I have ever seen.  I am having trouble figuring something out tho, and I was hoping you could help me.  I have taken the Community Leader perk, but for some reason, I cannot get the internal workshop to connect with my other settlements/Sanctuary.  I went into the computer and under Resource Sharing, I told it to connect to both the current one, and closest one while I was parked at Sanctuary, but no dice.

I am doing something wrong?  Or not doing something that I should?

    Thanks in advance!

Well, if you expect it to draw an actual supply line on the map, that won't work (I'm not 100% sure why tbh...). You should notice the additional resources when crafting/in workshop mode. If this doesn't work, I would need to look at your log files. I guess I should write an article about enabling logging and such...

Unfortunately, I cannot get the bus to connect in any fashion to the settlements when it comes to the workshop.  How might I get you the info you need to help, assuming you wish to be so gracious with your time of course!

Thanks again for the most exciting mod for this game I've seen.!

I downloaded the mod, but I can't find the bus at the bus station next to Corvega. I am playing in the VR version if that provides any useful context.

Maybe i am too stupid to install this mod, but where tf is the bus, The only bus i see is the prop one which is not able to interact with. This mod looks awesome but my stupidity is quite overwhelming atm

It's at the bus station in Lexington, as shown in the second image up above.

I absolutely love this bus. It's basically perfect for my needs.

I have 1 tiny little thing that's pretty optional, not important, but would be really nice if my companions would walk around inside instead of being stuck in the stairs, and perhaps would have some commentary markers. Okay that was two tiny little things. I tried to build Dogmeat a bed inside and he just said "Nah, I'll stand." and I tried to tell Nick to have a seat and same answer. But it definitely beats the heck out of a diff mobile home mod I tried where my companions would get trapped inside so I'd take it like it is, over that.

Thanks so much for all the hard work that went into this! It's super awesome and I adore the protectron driver with his little stache and hat! <3

Eventho I absolutely love the mod and all the additions you added since the first version I have one small gripe. The powerarmor stand on the back of the bus is great and all but its pretty much unusable if you upgraded your power armor. I traveled to a new location and was left with a rusty x-01 power armor set. All my paint and upgrades it took me an hour to do gone in an instant. Is that something that can be prevented ?

edit: It happens when you travel with the bus to a new destination. It constantly replaces it with old x-01 armor. So you basically have your set replaced each time.

      WAIT WHAT

this sounds like a very serious bug.

Did you get the suit from somewhere specific? What about the parts on it? Are they the ones which were on it initially, but upgraded, or from other places?

Ok I am using worsins power armor garage so its basically an upgraded x-01 looks the same but its painted better and its upgraded with other enhancements. The actual power armor frame is a standard. So the pieces disappear and is replaced by rusty x-01 versions. This only happens when you travel with the bus tho. You can leave it on the back and leave the area normally and it will be fine. But when you travel with the bus its replaced when you leave the bus. I will do another test with a standard set and check if it happens with a normal set I pick up in the wasteland.

Edit: Ok yeah it seems its caused by using advanced armor pieces made by the player. So I wll probably need a patch. Normal pieces seems to work even if painted in worsin so I can use that for the time being and use eco to enhance the armor till then.
Edit 2: Ok no even normal vanilla versions gets destroyed. It seem to happen as soon as you do any upgrades even normal vanilla upgrades breaks it.

This sounds like that the PA frame gets reset when the bus translocates it. I hope I can prevent it from happening. If I can't, I am going to remove the PA holder.

I hope you can get it sorted. I have a suggestion if you can't tho. Don't remove it from the mod. Add a box next to the powerarmor frame. Then the user just needs to remove the pieces and put it in the box when they travel. It does not destroy the frames themselves so that might be a solution.

Why not just use the workshop access hatches on the sides of the bus and put the armor in there?

@marrockV Stashing things is not really the point here. I have plenty of storage I can drop things. It would be cool if the powerarmor holder worked as the author wanted. And that is also the reason he want to remove it if doesn't. He doesn't want to make a buggy mod. For the time being for me I bypassed the whole problem by building a hatch inside the bus that goes straight to worsins power armor lab. So its no big deal for me. But still it would be really cool displaying the full set of powerarmor on the back. I don't know if you ever played with worsins but those power armors look dope painted.

Is there any chance at all that we could have the ability to put a bus arrival marker in Vault 88? It's such an incredibly long walk to the quarry bus stop, and I'm using this mod as my only means of fast travel haha

    hello.
is ther a way i can get the bus to recognise the gun for hire mod as a settlement to connect to, the room in that mod functions as a settlement. so i was wondering if there is a way?.

Is that room in this mod an actual settlement, with a WorkshopID >= 0, or just a player home, like Diamond City? If it is indeed a settlement, does it have a map marker in one of the regular worldspaces? If not, the bus has no way to know where it even is.

it's not a settlement, its a player home (like home plate).

Then it won't be able to connect to it. Only fully-registered settlements can have supply lines, and that's what the bus does, too.

This mod is amazing. I bought Neon Flats and installed several other player homes, but this thing beats all of them by far.

Three suggestions though: I waited years for the possibility to take my power armor with me without wearing it, please let me repair it at the bus.

The values for power on survival are to high for my taste. Either increase the price per tour times three or let the solar roof regen 0.33 charges a day, cap at 10 with maximum extension at 30, so I can't drive like a maniac through the commonwealth bringing my junk from place to place, but have to think about and plan my tours.

Add a more immersive container for weapons. A dufflebag, footlocker or a trunk would be good.

But even if you'd ignore these requests, the mod is still amazing. Thank you very much for the most fun playthrough I had in years.

I would like to second both the deep appreciation for your mod, and the feedback that it would be wonderful to have the power armor mount also count as a power armor workstation.  Thanks!

Have you tried building a Power Armor stand inside? I’m guessing it can barely fit?

Just about everything in the interior can be scrapped and other things built. I stuck a mod added ammo bench in mine for example.

Of course the default parts look better than most things that can be built, but I personally found the interior really tight with a follower and Dogmeat so I reworked it to be touch more spacious around the door.

A possible workaround is The Mobile Mechanic by fadingsignal.

And here I thought the power generation/Drain settings were too low :D
Maybe I'll add some simple power scaling factor, when I get around to it.

As for the Power Armor: The mount was actually intended to also be a PA station initially. However, the PA station animations absolutely cannot work with this configuration. Either the cam would end inside the bus, or the player would. This was rather frustrating and I gave up on it in the end...

This mod, for me, is very good.
Please keep it as it is.
The only thing I could wish is to split the travel console into the Commonwealth, Far H, and Nuka instead of a long list of names.
