I love the presets, but cannot get the mod to work for the life of me. So annoying :,(

Make sure you have a folder called "presets" located at: C:\Games\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets. Obviously, also make sure you have downloaded Looksmenu.

Am I missing some kind of requirement? I can't seem to get it to work.  I'm using Vortex and it automatically extract the files for me.  I also did it manually too nothing happens when I open looksmenu to change NPC face.  Their face remained original.

You might have a mod that changes these presets, disable any skin/makeup mods to see if this works. If not, make sure you have a folder called "presets", make sure it looks like this: C:\Games\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets

I installed only this mod plus the mods needed to make it work but even so it doesn't work the presets are installed correctly I see them in game just it doesn't apply any modification to the character

Make sure you have cbbe, f4se, and bodyslide. Otherwise, it might be something wrong with your fallout 4 folder, or some other mod/plugin messing with it. If you want, you can send me a list of your load order using LOOT.

The hat is a private mod, the backpack is from Backpacks of the Commonwealth, and everything else is from Vtaw's Wardrobe 1 and 6.

not that this is an issue with this mod specifically but ive noticed with presets they never look like the pictures in my game.
and not in like a "oh we have different post processing" way, i mean in like a "the eyes are too big and the face is stretched" kinda way.

this person has the same issue but nobody ever posted a fix, any ideas? presets are always weird on my game unless i make them in my game and save them. i dont have any hi-poly and mesh replacement mods installed currently.

I had this same issue a while back but only on companions. What I did to fix it is reinstalling Looksmenu. Your best bet is to reinstall Looksmenu or cbbe or any requirements for that face preset mod. If all else fails, reinstalling Fallout 4 entirely might work, but that's a huge pain.

haha my fallout is so modded (and every mod is usually touched up by me on the back end) if i ever have to reinstall this game im just gonna give up entirely.
BUT, i think thats a good place to start, there are a lot of versions of looksmenu so maybe there are just some stragglers sitting around that need to be cleared up, thanks for getting me started. its something that hasnt SUPER bothered me, but im really trying to clean up my game a bit and your presets are genuinely killer, everyone does "babe" and im like "i want human woman" haha, so i want to use em. thanks man.

Just wondering if anyone knew what hair is used for the Natalie preset in the 3rd and 4th screenshot. I've spent a good time scrolling my looksmenu and searching the modpages for the 4 hair mods in the requirement's sections and just can't seem to find it.

These are great! I'm honestly surprised more people haven't made NPC overhauls using presets. Skyrim is flooded with them but there are only a couple for Fallout 4.

Most of the character presets are working but the one i want the most "tru". i think i may be missing a mod to get her to adjust correctly. she loads as a standard character. ive downloaded the hairstyle mods from the required mods section.

I posted a new file, try to see if that one works. Let me know if you still have trouble.

Unfortunately the same few presets are giving default model looks. I'm afraid I may be missing a mod to get them to work. I would post a screen shot but I don't know how to here :(

If you really want to, follow these instructions here so you can post an image:

Upload image with imgur (on forum) - YouTube
      .

Also, if you are trying to add the presets onto any of your companions, try adding it onto your character than save it as a separate preset; or vice versa.

Thank you! I enjoy using this finally some presets that don't require me to download this or that this is simple but now staying in my load order for sure!
