I can confirm this mod has nothing to do with looksmenu. I created my female character in vanilla games and I just spotted the black dot at the left side of her mouth. This mod fix it. It totally doesn't require looksmenu to function, it's just a .tri file replacer.
I'm glad someone fixed this! Sometimes it looks worse than others, but this bug is always present in some form (however minor). I appreciate that this works instantly and I didn't need to go back into LooksMenu to force it to correct. Wizardry!
Meshes, Actors, Character ?
Hi! Could you please also make a version for Hi-Poly faces redux? I've tried to apply vanilla but its obviously distorting the face. Or if I would also be thankful if you provide the info on how you did the fix. What exactly did you change in tri files to fix it?
I create presets to create companions and NPC's for a World Space I'm working on. I create the presets, then create the characters in game. From there I use face ripper to take the faces and apply them to NPC's created in Creation Kit. Every once in a while I've had to dump a character due to the "toothpick" problem some times they were NPC's that came out looking just as I wanted, so it was a pain having to dump them. I tried everything I could to resolve the issue. I even got in close to the face and inside to see that the issue is caused buy the inner mouth platform that holds the mouth in place, at least that's what it looks like.
Long story short. This fix is a Godess send and I can attest to the fact that it fixes the problem after the fact. I just created 3 NPC's yesterday and one of them had the issue. After I installed this fix, I checked, and the problem was gone.
I also looked at another and this one had a very sever case of the problem. It wasn't gone but it was so minuscule it couldn't't be detected unless you got right up to the surface of the skin.
Thank you so much for this, and taking the time to actually come up for a fix that I'm sure many mod creators will be happy to have!!
