I would like to ask for your permission to modify the file so that it operates similarly to the regular turrets in the game. I think I might be able to attach the barrel to the top turret chassis in a similar manner to how the game attaches weapons the turret use in game. If I can figure out how to deal with certain problems (mainly having issue with something called a "Light Module") I will send you the files so that you can upload the fix to mod.
If you want to try, go a head. I tried to add snap points to the tower/base but I could not get the turret top to snap to it. But if you can get it to work, I would be more than happy to check out what you did, and then I would add your version to this mod page and give you credit for the work you do.
I love theses turrets, but not their range judging by your video. Plus they seem a bit weak for what they are suppose to represent. If you had a version that addressed that I would be all over this mod. I have a automated Phalanx turrets mod that I downloaded from another site that shreds anything comes near, twice the distance theses have and more powered. But the mod looks great otherwise.
They pretty much are what they are. They work fine in my game and that is what I made them for. If you want them to be altered it is something that you should be able to do with XEdit.
It is not an ESL, it is just flagged as one. You can easily remove the flag by using XEdit. It should not be causing an issue as a flagged file, you might have a mod conflict some where. You can use XEdit to see if you have any conflicts also, so you might want to get it and check to see what it tells you.
Thanks i have used FOEDIT to remove the esl. flagg. But still not showing up in the workshop menu. So there is a conflict? idk about that? thanks for your request.
I have not released a Russ Tank yet, but there will be a Leman Russ Tank Turret set coming out soon (like maybe in the next couple days after I posted this. ;) ). The Kub on the other hand would never work correctly and would look really bad as a turret. I may make some missile turrets in the future, but if you want some now, get this mod Hybrid Evolution Workshop (Starcraft Inspired) It has missile turrets and other turrets in it too. They are not 40K stuff, like this, but they are close enough, since they are Starcraft inspired, and that stuff is basically 40K lite. ;)
In all seriousness though, all the mods in the Hybrid Evolution series are pretty bad ass. I use them, and they work really great.
Really cool, ever think of doing a version with the in game tank or APC turret? I might have to see if I can whenever I have some time to work on mods again.
Fair enough. I was thinking just the turret in a separate part like in this mod, but it probably isn't the most difficult thing to rip off or replace the static base to something small for the same effect here.
Thanks. I make all my stuff in XEdit, so I can't make Scripts, plus there are already a couple of artillery mods out there. I am not a big fan of the way the artillery works in the game (even with the better artillery mod) so that is why I don't make them. I prefer turrets, they are a lot more fun as far as I am concerned.
If you want that stuff, I would recommend either of these two mods.
i use the 155 mod all the time in my game the reason for asking was that i could use this gun emplacement as arty on my ship settlement build (the last instance : https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/52064 ) they would fity better then several 155 howitzers :P but thanks anyway for your answer :)
