this is an awesome blueprint, however. i get some strange frame drops when near (not in) the settlement. this doesnt really happen with any other blueprint or sim settlement plan ive tried just this which is odd. my pc specs far outmatch the minimum specs on the store pages for fallout 4 and the minimum specs that the Midnight Ride guide say for high. (5700x3d, 32gb ddr4, rx 6750xt, nvme ssds)

Great to hear you liked the blueprint, thanks!  Whilst your hardware is great, the Fallout engine sadly is not and does not really take full advantage of it.  I get similar issues and sadly is a consequence of having a fairly large settlement (this one is over x3 the normal build limit) with lots of objects that the game struggles to render when viewed all at once from a distance.

I use several of your settlement blueprint, and they're great. I love the detail and the gritty, immersive quality. I want you to know that I appreciate you putting your material on Nexus so everyone can access it.

Love all your builds, so far I have your Egent tours marina and starlight drive in builds in my play though, Im having a bit of issues with this one though with pathing. iv tried pretty much everyting I can think of.
I have sent all of the settlers that where there to redrocket (human settlers) then I scrapped using the bat file provided. then I imported using TS. i then traveled to Dimond city marketplace and waited on a bench for 7 days. moved all the settlers back, im having pathing issues with settlers getting stuck down near the power generator room and in the houses down there and not being able to pathfind out of there. I tried reverting back to the hard save i made just b4 i moved all settlers to redrocket. I then tried reinstalling the blueprint and repeated everything I tried already. this time the only difference was when i got to Dimond City Marketplace, I made a hard save and reloaded that, then waited for 7 days. pathing was better but still broken and settlers where getting stuck under the platform just outside of the main gate. I reverted back to an old save again thinking I was just installing and ipmorting wrong, I followed your build guides on youtube, took me a few days but got the settlement built. same thing, they cant path out of the lower section still. Im not sure what to do. any tips or advice would be great. Either way, love the builds

Sorry to hear you are having issues with the settlement, unfortunately I am not sure what to suggest as I have not encountered the issues you are having.

I am aware of the settlers getting stuck in the bar area after 11PM due to them not being able to path to their beds.  If you guide them via commands they can reach them, so believe this is a more of an issue with the games limited pathing combined with the settlements layout and settlers generally struggle to path over multiple levels.

Resting till 8AM either teleports them to their assigned jobs, or to the spawn point by the settlement workbench where they then path back to their assigned positions.  I have never seen my settlers use the house on the lower level or get stuck under the entrance platform and not sure what would cause that.

In the optional files I have uploaded two test saves made in a game with just TSB and its requirements installed.  The first is the settlement unlocked and pre-scrapped ready for import, and the second is with the settlement imported and populated with settlers.  Could be worth trying these to see if you get the same problems, and might be able to help confirm if it’s a mod or game save issue?

Going through my xx'th time (lost count of replaying) after many years of being away.
I have not really enjoyed all that much of settlement building myself, thus was never really been interested in building anything but barely functional settlement.
I've looked around many blueprints, but many of them required additional mods that I had no interest in installing (my game is already bloated as is) or requiring more work than my lazy ass is willing to put in.

I greatly appreciate that the cleanup batchfile is provided so that the process of importing is less of a hassle, and gives me much more confidence in that I would not f'up any process.
Looking at the clean up batch file, I would like to make a suggestion to include disabling a chair at the top of overpass in Graygarden as I have heard countless times that this causes settlers being stuck up there.

    Anyway, thanks for the blueprint.

Glad you enjoyed the blueprint and thank you for the useful suggestion.  Although I never encountered it during my time building here, I have also heard about that chair causing issues and will be adding it to the cleanup batch file 👍.

Thanks for taking my suggestion. Just saw the update.

I noticed not all of your mods include the clean up batch file.
Are you planning to implement the cleanup batch file for other settlements?
Or would it be safe to just use the command 'scrapall'?

I'm not using any mods that enable scrapping items beyond the vanilla setting, but I do have increased settlement border.
Your mods seem to be ok as long as only vanilla items are scrapped.

I only provide batch files for settlements that have objects that are not normally scrapable (or in this case to keep the Mr Handy animation markers intact), mostly to ensure people don’t accidentally remove something else while using the console.

The Stable Import guide advises against using the scrapall command which I why I also suggest manually scrapping everything.  I don’t use it myself but the Raze My Settlement mod should be safe to use if you prefer to not manually scrap everything before an import.

I don’t think any settlement border expansions mods should cause any problems for my blueprints, as long as they don’t change anything
within the vanilla borders such as the terrain or object placement.  Plus I occasionally build things outside the border and they have always imported fine 😅.

Thanks for the clarification and insight.
Also, thanks for the suggestion. I will try that out.

Edit: Btw, when you mention to scrap things, that also includes crops already planted? Just checking.

Unless something is mentioned in the install instructions, everything that can be scrapped normally (or stored in the case of crops) should
be removed before importing.  I design my settlements to be imported from a ‘blank slate’.

EDIT: Managed to get it working for a few areas, however i noticed that there appeared to be missing wires and connectors? i couldn't power the gate no matter what i tried and i could only get a few lights to turn on when i did my usual trick of just picking them up in build mode and then put them back down. The power symbol was also red despite the generator being turned on?

tried it and absolutely loved it, however i have one small issue.

the generator doesn't seem to work? when i first got in none of the lights were on (i selected the import power stuff as was in the description, so everything should've been wired), i turned it off and turned it back on again and everything in the generator room lit up but nothing else in the settlement did.

    any help would be appreciated!

If you have objects missing it sounds like the blueprint has not imported correctly.  First suggestion would be to try the import again, ideally from a save before you did the first one.

When importing I find it best to not move about during the process.  Standing next to a settlements workbench looking either directly up or down will help maintain a higher frame rate and reduce the strain on your system.

If you are getting the same issue next would be to look what mods you are using.  As it just seems to be power related are you using any that add or adjust the base games power cables or connectors?

Happy to report that I managed to fix this the same day I commented and forgot all about it, so sorry about that! All i did was just reload the save and try again, everything lit up perfectly.  Thank you for your response, though!

    I really love this blueprint.
    Just one question.
    Where is the generator?

Thanks!  The generator is in a structure built around one of the overpass supports, you can see it in the tour at 2:25 and is also shown in screenshot 12 of the image gallery 👍.

Your blueprint always put a smile on my face. Always look so natural, blend in yet detailed and creative. Plus no additional mods required. You are always capable to make the most from what you have, that's a rare good trait.

Most likely you have a mod that has altered that object causing it to get stuck.  Simplest method would be to use the Blueprint Manager to edit the blueprint and remove the problem object (this can also be done manually).

For more details about this issue check out the ‘Imports Getting Stuck?’ section of the Stable Import guide.

Thank you!  Currently on an extended building break but plan on resuming my quest to rebuild the commonwealth hopefully in the new year.
