    7.1.2024: I redo the MM version to one esp file, looks like it caused NPC disappearing inside of Fort Strong for MM.
    Tested 10x times BoS and MM Fort Strong, had zero disappearing NPC inside.

    Workaround to restore the NPCs inside Fort Strong:
    Save inside of Fort Strong, exit Fallout 4, start game and load save.

    You can convert Fort Strong to MM anytime you like, quest has 2 variation depends on the enemy.
    Go to the Castle tunnels where General McGann is. There is security terminal with scouting report, read it and that will start the quest.

    Warning choosing BoS enemy will turn all BoS hostile!

    Institute players use the v1.4 for BoS enemy, I disabled in v1.5 the cell reset for better manual control. BoS will NOT respawn by cell reset.
    You can remove the No reset flag from FortStrongZoneInt via F04edit in v1.5.

    When you change your mind here are the console commands to change the quest.

    Does it affect vanilla quests? My quest to clear the fort from super mutants is not triggering

      No, vanilla quests are not edited. Best to check with Fo4edit what mod is editing the quest BoS202.

      No idea what I'm looking for tbh. Any particular lines I should be looking at?

      I have never had this issue in nearly 1300 hrs playing the game. I have just done a playthrough before current one, and everything worked. The only difference is installing your mods for Fort Strong and Boston Airport. That's why I asked about your mods affecting quests. I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm just trying to figure out how to fix this problem otherwise the playthrough is gonna get stuck (and I have done the entirety of Nuka World already). It's gonna suck restarting everything from scratch. Console commands state the quest is stopped and permanently is stuck at stage 0 & no other console command seems to work, can't set stage, can't reset it and can't complete it. :(((

      You search what mod edits the quest, on the right top side. I have only UFO4P that edits the quest.
      Can by also some Prydwen mod or NPC mod that edits Maxson (BoSElderMaxson).

      You can try to disable my mods, if that helps. I have them in my load order and my quest works fine. Just tested.

      You can test with clean save or try to reset quest: ResetQuest Bos202
      SetStage bos202 10

    Note: For anyone who has the mod Nordhagen Beach Deep Clean by VilanceD, place it below Fort Strong Redux. There was flickering grass in some areas at Nordhagen until I moved it below.

    I'm a bit confused, with the latest release how do I change the fort to Minutemen version?

    After my post the other day,regards the minutemen soldiers inside the fort,I loaded from my save where I was still inside the player home
    space. When I left that room and walked into the fort's interior,all of the soldiers were there. Like before. So,sorry,my bad. Even the power suited
    guards in the main entry were on station. Really neat.

      Thanks for confirmation! I think is the cell reset when quest ends, I will take a look.
  8. This mod has alot to offer. I did not realize there was a small room upstairs with a workbench(the player home space).
    I kinda miss the minutemen wandering around inside the fort. They only seem to be there the first time I toured it after clearing
    the greenskins. Big spooky place without my troops to bump into. ;) Thank you for all of your work on this. Very nice.

      You should have Minutemen/BoS(depends on patch) wandering inside the fort. Try to save inside, exit fallout 4 and load save again.
    2. Do you know why troops inside the fort regularly disappear?
      I noticed that one of the bedrooms is now blocked by a wall...is that intentional?

      First time someone reported this issue, so no.
      Maybe cell reset with defend quest. Would need more info if this is related to defend quest or not.

      Yes, there is some visual issue with that room door, so I place a wall there for now.
      I edited Fort Strong BoS Outpost by CookieMonster9000 looks like this room was change somehow.

    Hey mate, love the mod. I selected the one time scan quest, assuming that I would be able to do the repeatable quest afterwards, but I can't see anything on the terminal, do I need to wait a few days to get the radiant one?

      Hi, thanks!  Please update to version 1.3 and use "set FSR_radiant_value to 0" in console to reset the terminal state.
      Version 1.2 was missing script for repeatable timer. You get message after 10 in game days to check the terminal again, when quest is ready.

    Does quest allow MM to take Fort from BoS?

    I've only been in the fort pre Prydwyn arrival so it's vanilla trashy as it should be.  So I'm assuming that the actual clean up will happen after the BoS take the fort.  Fantastic work.

    On another note:
    Ever thought of doing something similar to the Cambridge Police Stn?  It'll give Rhys and Haylen something to do after they keep sending the player out alone to handle stuff the team is too afraid to take on themselves.

      Only in this order:
      1) Disable MM patch, do BoS quest first.
      2) Betray BoS with MM and wipe them out in Fort Strong.
      3) Active the MM patch and do MM quest from this mod against Super Mutants.

      For MM you need get access to the terminal, so during Old Guns quest. Until then there is no change to Fort Strong.
      But with MM patch once you do it with BoS you still get MM Fort Strong, as the patch is replacer.

      Thanks, regarding Cambridge Police Station, is more tricky as Rhys and Haylen are protected and there is Railroad quest to destroy BoS.
      Could mess more things up.

      My mistake ... meant doing the same in regards to cleaning up the station. But my note, as is, suggests making a quest to also allow the MM to take over the station. My apologies for being so unclear.

      There is already Aloot's Better Cambridge Police Station, but has some trash left and visual glitches.
      I will try to repair it and send it to the uploader.
