I designed and coded this mod myself based on some requests, but it was inspired by some Aiming mods, so let me know if this upload is a problem.
I haven't been working on this much lately, however, I've set the "Permissions and Credits" settings to open, so please check that and feel free to use this mod in Nexus mods.
[Additional Information] If this mod doesn't work well, please also see my other mod Toggle Aim (Papyrus) page. (Because it's similar in structure to this mod, also the bugs section is open and I've set some posts as sticky.)
Hey I saw you were credited for the Sneak Vignette mod and I wanted to ask if you could help me understand how to apply the vignette effect to something else. (Want vignettes with NVGs)
Hello, those vignette effects are implemented as "Magic Effect". Instantiating them in some way will apply vignette effects to the game. (image) https://imgur.com/a/V1F7x3z
So, if that NVG mod uses a similar method, I think it is possible to replace the applied effect by changing the NVG mod's Magic Effect to Sneak Vignette's. Find the part that specifies the Magic Effect and replace it. (Or add to it.) (find parts like these) https://imgur.com/a/2VgMWyJ
Is there a way to stop the sound of aiming down sights from playing twice when not using the skip animations option? I use regular iron sights with the full aim animation and the sound of 3rd person ADS and 1st person ADS both play instead of just the 1st person ADS sound.
Third Person Aim Down Sights It's amazing but it tends to crash a lot and the constant use of the holotape to restart it is sometimes a pain, I would like to know if your mod is more stable and if it keeps the double click option apart from the additional key you added ? c:
I really feel comfortable using the click but your work looks much better, If you don't have that option, would it be possible to add it in an update?
Hello. I've spent a long time testing this mod, so I hope it's stable, but I'm not sure what will happen when used with other aiming mods...
If you want to try it, please use the "Hold aim version" and set the two settings "Default aiming mode" and "After aiming mode" to "No Switch". (This tells the mod to only work when the hotkey is pressed.)
Also, after reading your post, I noticed that using "double click" might work around the problem that "PUBG version" has. So I'll try the "double click option" (or version) when I finish updating my other mods I've been working on lately. Thank you for your comment.
Wow, thank you very much for the answer! I will try your mod now and I will do some tests!!, I will also look forward to the update, the more accessible you make the more things the better!
I apologize. I have lost my motivation due to recent events. Also, if I add that "double click option", the mod will be very similar to "Third Person Aim Down Sights", so we need to think about that. (Because I like his work) If you yourself want to modify my file to add that option, feel free to do so, I'll gladly allow it.
After trying out a few aim mods I found I like this one best for that Metal Gear Solid aiming mechanics feel and the ease of use for controller compatibility. Out of the box this mod works great for controller users with the option to use the 'pipboy' button to enter first person while aiming.
So your mod does the same thing as this one with the difference that yours allows to bind a key separate from right-click/double right-click, and also comes with a bunch of MCM settings, right?
I prefer the double right-click method but I saw comments asking for a mod like yours so this is neat.
Yes, you are right. Both mods do pretty much the same thing. I think the main difference between them is that this mod is similar to "Ghost Recon" in usage and has a "Toggle aim" version available.
I think your comment is on point, so I set it to "sticky". I think it helps people find mods they like. Thank you. (I hope the translation goes well)

Hmmm, maybe my description of this mod is not good... Sorry if the translation of that didn't work.

[Edit]
I've moved the text to a new sticky post.
Because my crosshair is disabled, I cant aim in thirdperson. This mod would fix it brilliantly!
