    My mods = My rules

    Rule#1:
Please understand any comment asking for something which all the answers already are in the description and the built-in helper screen will be just
    ignored and deleted.

Don't take it wrong as there is nothing personal,
this is only my way to keep the thread readable and useful and to not waste anyone time.

But if the answers aren't there and if you really need my help and in order to helping me to helping you:

•1> Give me your PC configuration, your Operating System and the resolution you use.

•2> The mods you use. If your modlist is big then use the spoiler bbcode (remove the star). [*spoiler] [/spoiler]

•3> Post a screenshot somewhere like Imgur so I can really see what's wrong.

If you don't do any of this 3 steps, then see rule #1 above.

    Rule#2:
Do not waste everyone's time by posting about how you don't like the look of the mod. No one cares.

I thank you all very much for the endorsements, the donations and the images posted in the user gallery.
it's always a pleasure for me to see how my mods look in other people games and it also help me sometime to enhance my work regarding different visual mod setups.

Love this mod to bits. It was amongst the first ones that found place in my load order and with it I discovered the Commonwealth in its beauty and destruction. Simply, I cannot imagine wandering the wasteland without it. I haven't even seen vanilla lighting to be honest and am glad to have took PRC under my wing for all the adventures! Much love to @l00ping for all he provided with his beautiful set of improvements.

I'd like to reflect on the issue I had with making Institute Sky play nice with PRC. IS gives the whole place its sky vista it needs so desperately and myself cannot walk around it without both mods present and doing their magic. So, I went for a quest on pacifying the matter.

In order to achieve the two behave, extreme bloom that was ruining the effect of Concourse and other areas rich with dense lights - needed some paddling. Hell, elevator was like a UFO beam and you could barely see the button. A huge visual no-no.

Moving the load order to have IS overwrite Institute Patch PRC and vice-versa did not fix the issue, but just messed up the sky. With or without IP PRC, results remained the same, thus I had to approach xEdit to check what may cause the extra bloom by looking into all records both mods alter. Even after creating the patch and making them compatible, results were more or less unchanged. Bloom stood strong on its feet.

Interesting find came once turning off ENB completely. I am using PRC Ultimate Immersion with slight AO tweaks, rest is untouched. And guess what happened? Bloom disappeared.

Turning off Bloom by itself only also fixed the issue. Culprit was found.

Looking further in through ENBLOOM.FX, I came to find that "ENB Light HDR Patch" was off. Me spending almost two days on all above, blatantly just clicked on it without any hope and - voila. Annoying, exaggerated bloom was removed, leaving a calm, balanced bloom around all lights and edges on the scene. I was astonished. Happy. I came here to share, so even if you do not use Sky Institute, you MAY have bloom issues as mentioned and this is how to fix it. A simple tick and you're done.

    TL;DR
Exaggerated bloom with PRC Ultimate Immersion ENB (with or without Institute PRC patch) causing place to look like a models after party cocaine festival. Turning on a simple "ENB Light HDR Patch" in ENB settings under ENBBLOOM.FX fixes this. Now, you can enjoy heavenly Institute with all glory PRC brings to it. For additional immersion and awesomeness, install Institute Sky if your eyes please what they see: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32878

I seem to be having a bit of an issue using PRC along side Vivid Weathers 2.0

    https://i.imgur.com/K2tc3kB.jpg

The Vivid Weather settings causes this issue, however the TS-Vanilla weather setting, and Default, everything seems normal for the time being.
Am also using the latest binaries of ENBSeries V355
Im using the No Season Limitations and using Vivid Weathers Default Brightness settings.

I just tried Vivid 2.0 with PRC; Everything works fine, you did something wrong with the preset installation.
Redo a clean installation of PRC. (remove it first completely besides the dlls, then re drop the files from the zip)

i don't know how to call this "flashes", not really artifacts, but while using this ENB i encounter these tiny yellow-ish bright flashes/spots that come and go. below is a video demonstrating the problem.
    https://gfycat.com/weakinexperiencedeasteuropeanshepherd

these bright spots are being "amplified" by the DOF in combination with SSAO. what actually is the problem?

Did you try the latest 355 binaries? Performance issues are now fixed without version update.

Also try a newer / older version of GPU drivers. I know that i've seen something like this very long ago in Vault 111 myself - walls and other objects sparkling with white flashes just like in your video, when turning the camera.

Well i'm still on nvidia drivers 397.64, and the issue isn't there on my end.

I rarely update because "never change a winning team", and all the hassle with getting the inspector and calibration tweaks back in.

too bad then. i have to resort to film workshop because it doesn't have these random flickers/bright flashes. hopefully someone could help identify what's the problem though.

That's because of the DOF, you can download PRT and use Its DOF instead.
It'll be fixed in the next update .

CFL ENB has been hidden due to personal reasons it seems, so the link at the bottom of the mod page is unusable. I'm also getting strange stripes on the neck from the SSAO effect for some reason, which can most easily be seen from normal camera distance.

      Nice tits.

Up the SSAO quality in the settings, the complex filter also helps reducing it.

edit: Also, what ingame AO are you using? Try HBAO.

      1) Better replace the embedded pic with a link, since PRC is probably not flagged as adult mod.
Or crop it down so just the glitch is shown.

      2) This looks like an artifact from SSAO-SSIL's Indirect Lighting. You can try any combination of these
      - increase the resolutionscale / sourcetexturescale to 1.0 (can't be changed ingame, edit&save enbseries.ini while the game is closed)
      - increase the two SSAO quality settings (probably requires save&apply before it works)
      - reduce IL Amount (around 2.0 should no longer show this)
      - play with the Sampling Range (i currently use 0.16, makes certain other things look worse though)

      3) If it's only the vertical stripes being a new issue, this could also be due to ENB 355 saving some performance. I also noticed similar stripes in other places, check the pic i posted below about self-intersecting mode (with the vault suit pants)

Increasing the resolution and sourcetexturescale did help, thanks. I also found that if I turn UseSelfIntersecting on, it eliminates the stripes on its own by lighting up the neck area of the character.

Just to confirm, there's a big difference in performance between ENB 344 and 355 binaries.

Replying about this again, this smaller post will probably stick at the top of the page longer and be easily seen.

Boris released a hotfix for 355 yesterday that should fix this issue. Issue is related to SSAO/IL causing drops when set to anything above low. Download 355 again.

Thanks for the heads-up, here is my comparison with current gameplay settings (SSAO quality options set to "High" and resolutionscale 0.5)

      .344

      .355
      Spoiler:

Just be careful with the new self-intersecting mode, with PRC's default sampling range of 0.6 this still costs a lot of performance.
I also found it to give potential artifacts with my current quality settings, example here you should see some vertical striping on the pants

Yes, it's very taxing especially at the highest settings. The complex filter and sampling quality are hitting the most from my testings, compared to .344. I've tried a lot but couldn't get the same performance as with .344 and same visual quality.

Well i've seen the posts about 355 on the enb forum, though the SSAO/SSIL performance is supposed to be faster than 344 to begin with. Also seeing how the performance nearly dies from looking to the outside of the stadium (where there is nothing else to render besides the sky and LOD), it seems like a major bug in the binaries.

Best to stick with 344 until there's an update, there's just the problem for new users that the version isn't available on enbdev.com anymore.

Yea, i had to roll back to .344 for now. Didn't felt like to bother Boris about it since i think he's busy enough with what he does and i'm just a random guy who knows nearly nothing about coding so... I'm just glad i'm not the only one noticing it.

This problem should have been solved on 3rd November. Boris found that SSAO was casing massive drop on any setting above low and released a hotfix. See last couple of pages on ENB forums for 355 for more information.

dropped in a cpl images from an interior. more to come later. amazing work and performance. got to revert to 344 enb version to compare performance. will let you know how it behaves here. this enb preset is the first thing that maxed out the power limit of my card at 150% = 375W. looks amazing.
